I like Drie just a hair better then Cantillon and I'd round out the top 4 with Tilquin and Girardin. I've never had De Cam but someday I'll pop on that $40 bottle.

Girardin is no longer allowing shipment to the US from online shops. Tilquin as well. Juat an FYI.

Sadly, we don't get Tilquin here, but 3F >>> Cantillon when it comes to geuze.

Tilquin is one of the most common surprises in blind tastings.

As far as I'm aware Tilquin prohibits all foreign purchases on webstores now in an attempt to control supply to both locals and the rest of the world via official channels. Girardin seem to only prohibit purchases from the US.

Hanssens by far. If these beers had fancier labels or a cool brewery in Brussels this would be the gueuze everyone wants.

    1. Drie Fontienen
    2. Tilquin
    3. Cantillon

I think Beersel and Timmermans are underrated and Cuvee Rene is a great available, lower cost option.

Timmermans is a solid gueuze for how available it is (at least here in Aus), and Oud Beersel has one of the best Krieks out there! I'm not the biggest fan of their gueuze though, no matter how many times I try it, it just seems so rough and disjointed to me.

Cuvée René on the other hand is certainly the best available cheap gueuze.

Drie Fontienen for sure for me. Most have a certain "mustiness", but that one is just the right balance of everything.

It's not on the list but The Bruery's Rueuze is very good.

I voted Cantillon, but I have some work left to do on trying these. I was pleasantly surprised by Timmermans the other day though! A fine beer.

interestingly Oud Beersel is my highest rated but based on notes Drie Fonteinen and St. Louis are the ones I've come back to, so those would be top 3. Of the list I've not had Tilquin as it's excessively expensive around here.

I have a hard time getting most of these in my area, unfortunately, though I do love the style. I've only had 5 of the 10 listed. Now I have a list to search for. Definitely not impressed by Boon or Girardin though.

I voted Lindemans Gueuze Cuvée René, because it is the best of the ones I've had. On the other hand, I've only had a few, and none of the top ones, so my rating may change with time.
