Had to come to the twin cities this weekend so I missed out on the KBS train. Anyone know if it's on tap anywhere in downtown Minneapolis?

8th street? really? i've only been there once and i wouldn't add that as a first option. gluek's or mackenzies would be way better options.

i'd pass on city works, at least until they get things a bit more sorted out. it was chaos on st. patrick's day.

It's not KBS, but Town Hall Brewery always has one of their barrel aged beers on tap, and it's really close to downtown.

gosh, i don't know. if i'm picking places for downtown minneapolis, i might use the places option on this website and pick bars and eateries based on their ranking. i didn't see 8th street in the top 5, nor would i have put it there.

but i did say it was a sample size of 1, so take it for what's it's worth.

William Blake would say downtown is infinite you are seeing everything in a grain of sand son.

he might also say "dear mother, dear mother the church is cold, / but the ale-house is healthy & pleasant & warm".

i still like mackenzie's better than 8th street, but i suppose that's a matter of opinion.

I am with this here. I tend to just stop in here often, usually it's always my go to spot for pre-Twins game fare because of two reasons.
    1) they sometimes shock me with a random happening I didn't know was on tap
    2) even if they don't have something rare or tough to find they always have something I want.
    OK 3
    3) they're rarely beyond packed, even if they have something crazy on tap plus I dig their food

I'll be there on Monday before the Home Opener and Red Cow for happy hour after the game.
