KBS is one of those beers ill simply never have out of principle. Waiting in line to buy a $10 bottle, haha, amateur hour.

Ok, I'll be the lone person to say it. '16 KBS > '15 BCBS. Granted they are not the same style, and I should be comparing BCBCS, but I have not opened my BCBCS yet. Just noting that while folks bash the fascination with KBS, this year's version is damn good. In the last day I've had the '15 and '16 KBS back to back and it is not even a comparison. The '16 is just so much better.

And I waited 5 minutes at one place to buy 2 bottles, and 0 minutes at another 2.

I agree with you that kbs is the better beer. Never had an issue getting 4pk or two each year. Getting any bourbon county variant anywhere in my area this year was a joke.

I imagine you've never been other half, tired hands, treehouse, etc to purchase cans.

I got 5 bottles, in 25 mins, while driving for 15 mins. Total amatuer hour on my part.

Great beer. Don't chase it. More for us.

I read on the Founders Rep's Instagram account that it will be shipped out to bars and stores starting tomorrow.

It's not Founders' fault you paid too much. $20/4-pack here.

$5/bottle and no lines here. Total amateur hour. But I suppose holding on to the delusion that you're better than everybody else is much better than reality.

Same thing here. Picked up 2 4 packs at a whole foods for $22 each. No lines, no drama. IMO it was smoother than last year too. Anyone in NYC could have easily scored a case this year if they were on the hunt.

Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville has it for 2 pp, $6.99/bottle per e-mail. Any update on Wegmans?

Joe Canal's in Woodbridge got 10 cases in. Sold out by the time I got there at 1pm. Simply amazing. I figured they'd have a few cases left.

Dear god... 10 cases and gone? I imagine they got them today too. That's just insane.

I've already accepted that I might "miss out" but if I find some, fantastic.

Yup. People were waiting when the store opened. I was able to get my hands on 2 bottles thankfully, but I take the same attitude. If I land some, fine. If not, there is still plenty of good beer out there. I would be fibbing though if I said I don't get a little irritated sometimes with how gluttonous some get when it comes to chasing beer.

Joe Canal's in Woodbridge went through their 10 cases quickly because they had a 1 4pk limit. Pretty easy to go through it that fast with that limit. Most places in NJ usually have 1 or 2 bottle limit at most in my experience.

2 4 packs when there was a 2 bottle limit?
