Asheville: a few specific questions

    Going to Asheville today for the first time; any thoughts on the following would be greatly appreciated!

    1) weather looks good today; best outdoor space/patio? One of the WW locations? Green Man
    2) are Fonta Flora and/or Zebulon bottles available at any Asheville stores currently?
    3) will WW still have Dark Age bottles to go this week?
    4) KBS? On draft or bottles to go somewhere this week?
    5) does Fonta Flora have merch at the taproom? Would love to buy that blue hoodie they have on their Facebook, but maybe that was a one off?
    6) any must stops, or beers available now that I must try in Asheville this week?

    Yes, they sell merch at the taproom. Not sure about the specific hoodie. (This is kind of a random question since FF isn't in Asheville.)

    2) Yes, I have seen Zebulon bottles at both Tasty Beverage and Appalachian Vintners. Have yet to see a FF bottle in an Asheville bottle shop.
    6) I would see if the WW's Funketorium still has Red Angel up, they did last week still. Worthy of a try.

    I was at App Vintners yesterday - they had a nice assortment of Haw River brews. I highly recommend checking them out. These guys are the next big thing in NC, IMO.

    Outside at Wicked Weed is a nice place to be, in front or in back.

    Head downstairs at the downtown Thirsty Monk - they've got some great stuff on tap right now. The Ovila Plum & Ovila Cherry are both fantastic. The Stillwater Saison Darkly is damn good too. Be sure to order a pint of bacon while you're there - it's exactly what it sounds like & pairs well with the Belgian offerings. Here's a shot of the drafts available yesterday:

    1) weather looks good today; best outdoor space/patio? One of the WW locations? Green Man. Others have suggested Wicked Weed, and I'll agree they're nice. Green Man is also a good suggestion as is Burial for sitting around outside. Wedge is also a decent option for sitting around outside, though they're not in the South Slope area.
    3) will WW still have Dark Age bottles to go this week? I would expect they will... Report back and let us know :slight_smile:
    5) does Fonta Flora have merch at the taproom? Would love to buy that blue hoodie they have on their Facebook, but maybe that was a one off? They do. Also don't know about the specific blue hoodie, but they always have something and I don't think I've ever seen them not have their standard blue FF shirt.
