Supposed to be Vic Secret hops. Something I would be willing to bet 95% of us have never heard of.

 

Anyone open a BA Mom Jeans? Has anyone even tried it?

Also, hoping they have a canning on 4/24 being down there overnight for a concert already.

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see it be the Jackie O's collaboration. ETA per IG is "end of April".

 

Talking with the staff it sounded like this may be closer to mothers day.

 

BTW is this sarcasm, an official description, or something in between? Just wondering if there is a link to someone from the brewery that is describing what all is in this. I find it difficult to get specific details about their brews outside of that recent interview/blog.

 

Not an official release but it is. Queerforbeer is a good friend of Trevor, Ryan and Jared. I heard this as well and confirmed on both the hops and BA mom jeans.

 

Vic Secret. Trevor confirmed today. Only time I've had it was in the Stone 19th Anniversary DIPA that was all Australian hops. He also mentioned they purchased the hops off of another brewery and that they had a ton so we should see Vic Secret blended into quite a few of their beers in the future.

 

If I stop in tomorrow around noon, is there any chance of getting cans of something? No big deal if not, I am driving through and might make a pit stop if there is a chance. If not, I will probably stop on the way back for growlers.

 

Are you talking about the Brewpub? The Hoof Hearted Marengo location is only open for can releases. I don't believe the Brewpub sells cans, but they had a ton leftover so it should see decent distro in and around Columbus.

 

Unfortunately, neither the taproom nor the Marengo Brewery will be open. Marengo is only open on Sunday canning releases and the taproom Weds-Sun.

Check the good bottle shops and liquor stores in Cbus. There was a full palate of AWHFY left. It's not an Imperial IPA so the masses did not flock.

 

EWS Vic Secret confirmed via Facebook event. Tickets sales start Weds at noon, per usual.

 

What does everybody think of AWHFY?

 

Most people I know that had it all said it was good, but light. Good session type of beer. I get my cans next week from a friend, so I have not tried it yet personally.

I find almost every Hoof beer sessionable though… With such light bittering, no malt-body, etc… Basically various flavors of hop juice lol.

I look forward to the upcoming EWS though... Wish the weather outlook was better, though. Damn Ohio.

 

Definitely sessionable, no hop/yeast burn though. Ready to drink now. Not a DIPA, so don't expect the flavors to pop as much.

 

anyone cracked their ba mom jeans yet? curious how strong the barrel is, also wondering if the maple/chiles are very present?

 

I called Gentile's and Weiland's today at noon. Neither got any AWHFY. Does anyone know it might have landed?

 

Heard from the HH crew, unlikely to see in stores due to distro issues.
