Math is hard for everyone. $7 each is $28 a 4 pack.
    That's high for a single, yet I haven't seen a 4 pack price of $28.

    Explain

Yes, but if you include hassle, time on the shelf of most beers, as well as appeasing alot of customers vs a few, etc; they aren't making more overall. Most stores break them up so that more people can enjoy the beer.

MGM Forest Lake has KBS but they are selling it in a mixed 4 pack of Founders beers for 14.99. Make sense form a business stand point but not exactly what I had in mind when the guy said they have plenty.

TW Roseville still had 8+ cases as of 5pm. Single bottle per person per day.. Wouldn't budge

That's how it works. If every place has singles for basically the same price, they are all following their own normal mark for singles. As a beer lover, I don't like when stores sell 4 packs of rare things to everybody. Share the wealth, so everyone can enjoy!

thats laughable. kind of like requiring you to buy Pentagram in order to get Darkness. mark that store as one not to shop at.

Look at all the KBS geeks! That beer has sucked for the past 4-5 years!:stuck_out_tongue: Sorry. Don't mean to troll. Just happy to admit I haven't and won't be buying a single bottle of that swill.

That seems like a bit of an exaggeration. Sure, for a lot of us, KBS has significantly lost it's luster because of how many better beers there are out there now, but I'd still say being in the top 50 is fair. "Swill" seems like a term better saved for Bud/Miller/Coors.

 Yeah. Definitely troll-esque on my part. But speaking the truth, that beer is bottom of the barrel for me anymore. Bring on the Miller Lite!

Which yearly released, widely available, $5-6 barrel aged coffee stouts are you drinking that are so much better? Seriously, I would love to know about them.

That's a flimsy straw man! No one said anything about what you're trying to set up, just that someone doesn't like KBS. While I might not agree that it sucks, I do fully agree that this is a beer that I wouldn't bother to chase. YMMV.

Seems like the cities got a pretty solid amount of KBS. Hoping that means we will get some up north, but we just started getting founders last fall so who knows

Sure, but there is a difference between saying you don't like a beer, and saying why, compared with just saying it sucks or calling it swill. DogfishRyan was clearly trolling.
