@jbdpsu82 Killed it with this porch destroyer!

Of course I had helpers... they were almost as excited as I was!

They found some Mac and Cheese in the box! Alex was excited because he loves Mac and Cheese. They also found some noisemakers that also contained some coins... my 4 year old was thrilled.

    Ethan found his favorite beer:
And he could drink one in about 20 more years.

Oh wait, so what's in the box? How about we look at the littles first: I should have used my wide-angle lens.

Rise Up Stout: Uh, this looks delicious! Never heard of the brewery
Todd the Axe Man: I have been wanting to try this but it kept eluding me. Thanks!
Great Lakes Blackout Stout: I heard good things, anxious to try this one!
Free Will Ralphius: A bourbon barrel aged beer with a dog on it? Hell yes
Bourbon Barrel Insidious: Sounds awesome, can't wait!
Brooklyn Black Chocolate: Uh, I've been wanting to try this one, Jon must read minds!
Dark Horse Plead the 5th: I have BBPT5, but I've never had regular, so this is a big want!
Stouds Fat Dog: Uh, this sounds great. And it's got a dog on it.
Terrapin Wake n Bake: Okay, so this is the first one I've tried, but it's great. Can't wait to share it with some buddies.

Mega Milk: A Mega Man themed oatmeal milk stout sounds pretty amazing, yes?
Central Waters BBA Stout: Another huge want, really appreciate it!
Bells Expedition Stout: I didn't see the vintage, but this is great. We don't get Bells here, and they age gracefully.
Sunday Morning Stout x2: A 2015 AND A 2016? Get outta here. Never had this before. Stoked.
Troegs Impending Descent: Uh, sinister name and I've never had Troeseges
Troegs Chocolate Stout 212: I love chocolate and stouts, sounds like a winner

Hardywood Raspberry Stout: Wow, this looks delicious. Never had any Hardywood!
Lost Abbey Track #10: My friend was bugging me to try this, but I've never had it. Killer!
Sunny Side Up: My first beermail crowler. I have been wanting to try this, it sounds amazing!
Hubbard's Cave Imperial Stout with Chocolate and Raspberry: Sounds like a dessert I'd love to eat!
Planet Bean Coffee Stout: Sounds delicious, I love coffee.
Big Black VooDoo Daddy: Uh, this beer sounds delicious, so I'm happy to get one!
FFF Blot Out the Sun: Okay, I may have cheered when I unveiled this. Big want! I love FFF and the name and artwork are killer.
Iron Mill Russian Imperial Stout: Dude, this looks great- and I love cans.

Seriously these boxes are amazing. @jbdpsu82 thank you so much for the time and effort you put into assembling this roster of crazy fun/good/interesting/unique beers. And then hitting me with a surgical strike on an IPA I've been craving. I didn't get a family photo (sorry?) but my 35mm lens I would have to stand on top of my kitchen table to fit them all in.

What a nice treat to come home to after a super long day. Back in the office this AM, so did have time for the full bottle picture, but did get this one taken.

There might be one or two things in there that could be considered morning coffee ....

I did get it opened up last night, but have had to return to work before getting a good picture. I'll post a full run down tomorrow, but thank you so much @imyourhero21. Everything in there is a new one for me. Either I've never had it, or its a new vintage I can add to verticals. As I sat on a conference call at 8am this morning a nice cup of Sump was quite tempting! Thanks again so much.

    Proper PRON coming!

Huge apology to @sandman3479 for not posting pics until now, I thought I did!

So last week I got a tracking notice that said delivery friday, so I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice huge 12 bottle shipper waiting for me when I got home on thursday!

There's a lot of awesome beers in here, and I'm really looking forward to trying them. I've only tried 4 of these 12 and love stouts, so I'm very pleased. In fact I just put all but a couple in the fridge so I don't sit on them forever!

What's pretty awesome is the night before I got this box I opened a 15' bcbs, so that's a nice cellar replacement! Additionally I had already promised some friends I'd bring a '16 huna to share Friday night, and got another replacement!

    Thanks Dino!

Moving left to right on your radio dial...

Uncle Jacob's 2013: Hit a perma want and have 14 and 15, a great addition to the vertical.

BA Imperial Biscotti Break: Have only ever had regular. Super pumped to open

Parabola 2014: Had the 2015 last week for the first time and it was amazing. Another awesome addition to a vertical I've been working on.

Three Floyds Moloko Milk Stout: A new one, cant wait to try.

Perennial Sump: Yes! Yes! Yes! So happy to have nailed this down. My buddy knows the Perennial guys. He helped open Civl Life Brewing in STL. Said he'd bring me an Abraxas in September when I see him, but this wouldnt be any good by then, so I wrote off every trying this. So awesome to find it in this box. (Also - if you're ever in STL you should go to and drink Civil Life. Good session beers, great guys.)

Turtle Anarchy Portly Stout: Seems to be a TN local. Always love trying stuff I'll have no way of every getting my hands on or would even know about

Blackstone Chocolate Milk Stout: Same as the other crowler. Cant wait to try

18th Street Hunter: Like Sump a beer I gave up on even trying to nail down. So happy to have gotten this.

    Three Floyd's Backmasking: Permawant

Stone Xocoveza Charred: Like the BA Biscotti, had the original never the barrel aged one. Cant wait to try and see what the difference is.

Wicked Weed Smore's Stout: Wife read this and basically called dibs. She rarely drinks beer, so will be fun to share with her. Never had.

BCBCS 2013: I've had 2014 and 2015 was a fiasco. Can't wait to have this and compare to my notes on the 2014.

@imyourhero21 Thanks so much for an awesome box. You hit wants, beers I didnt think I'd ever get a hold of, helped with verticals and got me stuff I would have never even known existed. Cant be much happier with a box like this!

Glad you liked them. My best trade buddy lives in ohio and i know about the 12 percent cap there so i tried to send as many beers over the cap. Tennessee has some very backwards laws as well, so that portly stout is one of my go to under 6.2 stouts here while that blackstone milk choco stout is awesome and i like it better then terrapins moo hoo.

I shipped @campa86 and @jbdpsu82 some small boxes which should hit Thursday and Friday. I had hoped to include a certain IPA in them, but I struck out at 4 different places on my special excursion to Denver. :/

Glad to see the Black Note made it!
UPS "discarded" the other box because of broken glass.

Wait. They threw ~25 beers away? That blows.
@bbpro47 do we need to help out Funhog- this is kind of a sucky situation here. Maybe a bunch of us could send Sandman a few stouts.
