Can I kick it? (Yes, you can!)
Well, I'm gone (Go on then!)
Can I kick it? To all the people who can Quest like A Tribe does
Before this, did you really know what live was?
Comprehend to the track, for it's why 'cause
Getting measures on the tip of the vibers
Rock and roll to the beat of the funk fuzz
Wipe your feet really good on the rhythm rug
If you feel the urge to freak, do the jitterbug
Come and spread your arms if you really need a hug
Afrocentric living is a big shrug
A life filled with that's what I love
A lower plateau is what we're above
If you diss us, we won't even think of
Will Nipper the doggy give a big shove?
This rhythm really fits like a snug glove
Like a box of positives is a plus, love
As the Tribe flies high like a dove

Rhythm rug, jitterbug, big shrug, need a hug, and now Funk fuzz

I figured those two for sure as well. I'd love to see Casey, deGarde, monkish, and SARA as well.

I had only put away 80 dollars for the festival, because the GA tickets were 40 last year. I wanted to get tickets to surprise my gf because her birthday is the 15th. (two birds one stone). I was tempted to get the Funk Fuzz, but I am also saving for a trip to Austin so GA it was. But I'm surprised they still exist.

I am stoked though. Especially with the speculation of outside NC breweries. This will be a great first State of Origin!

I really can't believe there are still tickets (at least tickets with bottles).

Until this afternoon the ticket link wasn't on the festival page (it is now). Probably didn't help ticket sales.

Anybody know of a list of breweries from years past?

I think the only caveat on out of state breweries is that they advertise the festival as all beers made with an ingredient from NC. Probably not too hard for anyone who wants to get in on the fun to get something to throw in their beer from NC though. As far as this year goes, I got some confirmation from the folks at Burial that they were going to be there. Also, great idea on FF's part to just tie in the bottle release with festival tickets. Keep the good folks happy with the beers and avoid any of the long line issues from the last couple releases.

@HopBeard what hotels are on exit 105 that the shuttles will be going to? Are there any other hotels outside of exit 105 included?

Its looking like Sleep Inn. I also emailed someone about a cabin about 10-20 min away if anyone's interested. Anybody else have an idea of where they'd like to stay? I'd like to get 5-10 people together for a share after the festy.

I believe there's a Quality Inn, Sleep Inn, and Plaza Inn all next to each other at Exit 105. Don't know of any others at that exit. And there's a Days Inn at Exit 103 which also isn't far from FF.

ok, I'll plan on hosting a share at one of those three if anyone's interested. Might opt for one with an outdoor pool if possible. Anyone interested feel free to PM me. @DiscLizard should be present as well.

I called the Hampton Inn and they are off 105 as well. A buddy is getting a room on points, otherwise I would be at the sleep inn. It sounds like they are all a stones throw from one another

I can see it a little. Honestly, I want to save my funds for Funk Asheville, the pours they have had over thee last two years have been incredible.

Too many festivals, too little time (and money), what a great time to be a craft beer aficionado!

Ill be with 3-5 other people, who are all down. Lookong forward to this. With Dead and Co. playing Charlotte the night before, a post fest share will probably be better for us

If anyone is coming up from the Atlanta/Athens area, I'm trying to swap for a 6pk of Tropicalia and/or other Creature Comforts hops. I've got the Tired Hands/Jolly Pumpkin collab IPA (Alien Baphomet) that was canned last week FT.

11 days! Let the countdown begin.
