Anyone see kbs at woodbridge wegmans?

 

KBS at WF Old Town.

 

One case at WF Alexandria; limit two at 5.99 each. About half a case left as of about 15 minutes ago.

 

k-1 got kbs today. if its not gone by now, i'd be shocked. lost dog probably got it too. also worth trying the bottle shop in del ray next to evening star. stuff lasts longer over there.

 

WF Fair Lakes getting KBS today, 4 pack limit, I'd suggest going now based on what I've seen in the past. I've had good luck with the WF Reston, in the past they've had it available really early on the day they received it.

That being said, I won't be seeking this one out this year.

 

Obviously, WF and Wegmans get KBS. Any chance Trader Joes, Harris-Teeter, or Giant could get any KBS? I've seen regular Founders offerings in select stores from each of them....

Nearly every Wegmans sold out within an hour yesterday. I was told there were alot of truck chasers.

 

The Harris Teeter in Old Town had Hopslam laying on the floor for all to take. Not that Bells is Founders, but if they get it, it will probably be laying around unattended in a corner.

 

I work at TJ's, and according to the beer team at HQ, KBS is in much higher demand and lower availability than any of the rest of Founders stuff and I guess we're lower on the totem poll so no, it's pretty unlikely that TJ's will get any.

 

Same reason they don't get BCBS. Most Giants sell more Founders (AD 15pk) than Arrowine. Though I doubt the wholesaler has set KBS up at Giant type places, they would have no idea what it was and wouldn't see it as a "reward" like a place with an actual buyer does. Trader Joes I believe does have a beer buyer who writes the orders, ao I could see them getting a case.

Well my Giant had BCBS and they had two cases laying in the floor in the beer aisle. No limits at all. Seems like when the big grocery stores get it, they just throw it out there. Besides Wegmans and WFs.

 

Harris-Teeter NoMa had BCBS, but they kept it behind the service counter. Not sure what the limit was as when they asked me how many I wanted, I said "only one".

 

What is FB?

Just a note: Wegmans Alexandria apparently was selling KBS by the four pack on Monday and sold out within two hours. Not sure if they had any limits. I didn't get any.
