I wasn't either, but I expected the price at LSBS to be honest. But at this point, I'd rather pay the few extra points rather than have it in front of me and continue to chase it down somewhere else.

Did you get it at LSBS. @MagnusBrewing?

I tried this a month or so ago, and it's good, but its not quite on the same level of KBS IMO.

Also- my dad was in Red Bank today and said Circus Wine got like 20 cases of KBS in, 5 of which were gone by 1pm. And that's at a rate of 2 bottles per person @ 8.99+tax/bottle

I did. I grabbed 2 there and there were probably 8 or so left. The guy told me someone was there right when it came off the truck and bought half the case.

They had 5 cases, put them out today, and they sold out.

I was going to ask if you were that guy. He told me the same thing. When I got there, there were 4 left.
Some lucky bastard is going to get the last 2.

    20 cases? Good god.
I always forget that place exists and go to Bottle King instead.

That's what I was told. Didn't see it for myself but I have no reason to think my dad made it up haha

Oh I believe you. Just compared to every place else that is going 1 or 2 cases, that's just plain silly. Good for everyone that was able to get some there though.

Hahah no I wasn't that douche  I still have 2 left of each of the past 2 years so I figured there was no reason to hoard and let others grab some.

Glad to see we were of the similar mindset.

Especially since they didn't have a limit.

That's what I thought as well. They do have good prices normally.

It's really good stuff. You should do a head-to-head between PM and KBS. If I can find another bottle of PM (fresh, not 2 yrs old like the last one) I may just do it myself.

Not really a fair competition. Peche has no chocolate or bourbon.

If you are desperate, new beer shop on 31st and 6th in Manhattan. Was walking by as he put out his sidewalk sign saying he has kbs and bcbs.

    $12.99 per on KBS.

Based on reception that this years kbs has been the best batch in awhile, I went out and got two bottles. Disappointed for another year. BCBS is a ton easier to get and much better.
