KBS should be hitting south hills distro today, last year GEMDSH did 1 per...I would expect if they get it tomorrow at noon would be the sweet spot

 

Best bet now is the GE Express on 19. Decent chance of finding something remotely fresh. They seem to have better turnover. As for WF, yeah, it's the slowest construction progress ever. September seems optimistic to me. Took them like 3 years to build the one in Wexford so this comes as no surprise. Either way, it will be a game changer for those of us in the SH.

 

Stopped at the Robinson MD at lunch. Was told that KBS came and went on Monday. The "Beer Lead" behind the register said to you just have to come in and check to see if specific beer is in stock. Can we clone @randylangford already?

 

Yeah, that's what they told me yesterday as well. I went over to GE in Coraopolis. No KBS. However, the gentleman putting beer out was super affable and volunteered to take my name/number and call me when some came in. Since I was out and about, I gave the GE in Sewickley a shot. They have very little beer and most of it is pretty common stuff. However, they had a case worth of KBS in the cooler. $24 per 4 pack. No beer monitors. I got 2. That was yesterday afternoon.

 

I go to that GE fairly regularly and this is shocking to hear.

 

Regarding the Sewickley GE. Very shocking to hear.

 

Since Adam, the former beer lead left, GE Sewickley has gone to shit. Adam is now a sales rep for Wilson McGinley. He actually cared. This knew guy doesn't.

Ventured to south hills market district a few weeks ago en the evening. The entire stock of beer was sitting in direct sunlight from the adjacent Windows. That should explain how well that store is run. Their mix six is also probably the worst in Pgh. Although I did find rochefort 10 in the mix six once.

 

Duffys beer distributor has 2 cases of kbs. 129.00

 

The sunlight is just one of my many gripes about the store. I think I went in there for the last time to purchase beer last week. I don't necessarily expect them to be running a store like Randy does, because that's just not possible at all locations, but at the same time it's like they've given up entirely.

 

I'd prefer not to be cloned. I could handle promotion though.

Did anyone go to BG tonight? The Blueberry Smoov-y is really good and looks beautiful. The G-Funk Friday is straight bong water, in the best way possible.

 

Totally. When I walked in and saw how small their selection was, I almost walked back out without looking. Figured there was no chance. Though the small selection wouldn't take long to peruse.

 

Well thanks for the heads up. That's my backyard. Never even considered that they might get KBS. The beer selection there has had it's ups and downs, as @PSU_Mike said. Wouldn't even be that bad if stuff could be trusted to be fresh, but the same goes for almost every place around I suppose.

Edit: Curiosity got the best of me, and I stopped by again around 5:30. The last 4 pack was gone. Hope someone on here got it.

 

Until about 2 years ago, it was half the size it is now.

 

Anyone mention the Ben Avon Heights GE? You could seriously just miss their beer department.
