My guess is that the numbers indicate the order in which tickets were purchased. My 2 for group C arrived yesterday - numbered 23 and 24. I purchased these on my phone, and the countdown timer on my phone was a few seconds ahead of the countdowns on the other devices I was using, allowing me to see the ticket selection screen a few seconds before my other devices.

 

I was thinking Pymouth, IN, but it could be a ESE wind...

 

I cant help but think that someone or a few people that work for Three Floyds is just popping dark lord after dark lord enjoying where this thread wanders to next. I know I would.

Everytime a weather update gets posted, there goes one more Vanilla DL. Every incorrect band guess, there goes one more Bourbon DL... haha

 

Just got my tickets, an I immediately noticed something interesting.... So the lanyards are exactly the same as the ones last year, other than the color (black and grey versus orange and purple).....and when I say exactly I mean EXACTLY....

Looks like someone missed the "update the year on the lanyard" memo hahaha

 

What kind of packaging was it delivered I? Mine is going to my grandma's house so I need to know what to look for

 

That may be true but someone better post the lanyards that have #666 and #6,666 on it because those lanyards are METAL AS FU*K.

 

That would make sense as I purchased tickets close to 12:45 after getting shut out multiple times in the queue and finally being able to order.

 

Whoever was in charge of the lanyards, well Roman numerals aren't their IVte apparently.

 

I had mine send via FedEx 2 Day, so a FedEx envelop for me. Can't comment on the USPS packaging. Sorry....unless you picked FedEx....then glad I could help!

Ive got #999, upside down picture incoming

 

Mine were delivered in an over sized wooden crate. Took me a while to dig through the packaging and find them. From the lettering on the crate, I can only assume they were shipped from Italy. So I guess look for something like that.

Got my ticket/badge on the mail today via USPS....Nothing else in the envelope other than the lanyad' and the badge. I thought I had group A when I purchased but looks like I'm actually group C no problems at all. For those of you veterans even if I'm on group C, can I still enter the place when it first opens and just chill/drink in the festival grounds until my group time ?

 

Yup! The event opens to everyone with a ticket at 10am. You just can't get in line to pick up you're bottles until the group time on your ticket.

 

So... if there are 12-14k attendees, that means 12-14k variant bottles... Isn't that 3-4x their typical yield? Most of these variants have bottle counts of well under 1000.

 

Oooohhhhhhhhh goooood. Theres a trend. I know of another person who received the wrong group, and yet another person who got someone else's tickets entirely. Should have known that when ETix screwed up all the emails failing to show what group assignment was bought that it could become a massive issue. I'm guessing this is going to be a headache for a lot of folks. Of course, those who magically find themselves moving up a group will be issuing no complaints.
