Rustico (both locations) has KBS on draft starting at 5 today.

 

There are a few KBS 4-packs at Westover Market -- $29.99.

 

Anyone know if Foolery will see limited distribution? Bottle limit was high and it lasted through Sunday so fingers crossed.

 

So glad i waited in line for four hours. How many did they make? I was guessing around 4,000 but maybe more.

 

Yeah, I heard 4k as well. I don't think this sees any distro, but it did stick around until Sunday. Glad I picked some up easily enough on Saturday evening; but Hardywood's release method is pretty terrible. I wish they would release bottle counts. I think they enjoy the absurd lines there early in the morning.

 

people say that this yr's KBS is better than last 4 years, haven't had, so won't comment on that, but I think SMS is not as good as BCBS but easily better than the last 4 years or so of KBS.

Dominion is doing 32 oz growlers of KBS Friday. What a shitshow that will be.

 

And selling bottles. Love the store, but it's bad in there on some of their special Friday 5pm releases. Just not big enough to handle the crowd that will be there Friday. I like it better when they randomly throw a special keg on tap without warning.

 

Drinking this year's now, I'd say its boozier and more coffee-forward than I remember previous years being.

 

For those still keeping tabs, 4 packs at Georgetown Wine & Sprits as of 6pm.

 

Not sure on bottle count. Just know folks went back Sunday and grabbed more. Bummed I missed out. They had it on draft today and it's very good.

Exact same deal as AB GBS minus the tickets which were utterly pointless. I said this in the SE forum: HW needs to get their Goochland facility open and transition to a all day event.

i'm aware that this forum is totally for special releases but i just wanted to take a moment and give a public shout out to a random stranger...

i saw this post and dropped everything at work to get over there. walked in, guy in line had two 4pks, i pointed at them and asked which direction i should head. he reached out one of his hands and said 'these are the last two, here, it's all yours'.

so guy if you're out there and read this, i really appreciate it. beer karma will totally repay you... it totally made my day.

 

KBS 4-packs in Springfield Whole Foods - about 1.5 cases left. Also 1-bottle at TW Springfield. 4 Cases.

 

Has the Wegmans in Sterling received any KBS yet or has it come and gone?
