I'd like to know this as well, it was great last year to just walk upstairs and grab a pulled pork/chicken sandwich in the afternoon.

 

Yes--in the main hall. There didn't seem to be an upstairs room this year like there was last year.

 

all remaining sessions will have the upstairs. wednesday didn't bother because the crowd is always smaller.

Upstairs is also where the Tutored Tastings are. We held one last night, and two more are coming during the Saturday sessions.

 

I presume there are some good casks being held for tomorrow... PLanning on hitting early session. Looking forward to it, as always for NERAX.

 

Yes. They are serving food upstairs.

You can also eat in the basement (first floor) of the Lithuanian Club. I liked the Lithuanian food there last year.

 

That's great - I've heard nothing but praise for the restraunt. Are they open for just their normal hours (I think, weekends 12 to 7) or did they expand for the fest?

 

Is there anywhere to park nearby?

 

it should be easy to find street parking on Broadway and it's not metered. There arent many parking restrictions on weekends

 

street parking is allowed almost everywhere on weekends, but empty spots can be difficult to find

NERAX is my favorite festival to go to, great beer and good people. I was a little bummed with the small number of UK beers available on Saturday. More UK on Saturdays!

 

Thank you for posting the tap lists. Always love to see those. NERAX is by far my favorite fest. You're making me regret being out of town this week! (Although sitting outside in the sun in shorts at Jester King Brewery in Austin TX on Friday almost made up for it :-)

 

Had an amazing time Friday night; awesome fest as always. Stuck with beers from Great Britain only and was very very happy. I think my favorite was the Dark Beacons from Brecon, I do wish there had been some other milds on cask as well. I hadn't been since the shift to this venue and was very happy with the amount of space they have now. Thanks to the organizers and volunteers, you guys did a really great job!

 

I was partial to the Welsh Beacons, myself. But otherwise +1 to everything said.

 

Sorry for the late reply, but the Lithuanian Kitchen was only open the regular hours (12 pm - 7 pm, Sat. and Sun.).
