Just went to Wegman's Ocean and picked up 2 bottles. Happy Birthday to my buddy, he has no clue... unless he's on these forums... which in that case, happy birthday buddy.

So, if you go to Wegman's don't go searching around like I did, it's at the service desk. Get in line and then get your 2 bottles. There was still some left.

Just picked up two bottles at Wine and Spirit World in Wyckoff. Grabbed the last two bottles on the shelf (not sure if they kept any in the back) at $6.99 each. Feel like I got ripped off now seeing $4.99 hahaha

Bought one bottle at Wegmans in Woodbridge @ $5.49 a bottle. That's the best price I've seen for years

I paid $10 for myself yesterday and then $5.99 for two today. Worth it either way.

$8 seemed to the going rate in northern Monmouth county. 3 places near my house all had that price (4 bottles total)

Yep went at 3:00 and they had plenty left. $5.49 each. Best price I've seen. The lady there at the customer service desk seemed quite upset that so many others are marking it up so much

Hinestly I feel that this year it was easier to get in northern minmouth county than last year. A few phone calls yesterday and today and it was simple pickups. Hopefully this trend continues

My dad was there around 4 and they still had some. He said $8/ per and 1 bottle limit. Maybe they jumped it as the day went on

Crazy that the best price around is WF in Manhattan. The NJ stores near me mark it up too.

Ok ok, yes I opened one and man it was f'in nasty. One sip, drain pour. I also was in denial on how sour it would be. Guess I will wait another day to drain pour the other one. Anywho, having a KBS to cleanse my tainted palate, handling the job quote nicely.

If you go to a popular craft beer store, yes, you will have to line up. But if you go to less known stores in Center City Philly like I did, bottles were on the shelves through the week after it was released.

On a side note, why are KBS kegs not hitting the bars yet? @PhillyTapFinder (.com) shows one bar that will have it at an event on Saturday, and that's it!

Actually I've found that WF is rarely beat on price - for beer, that is. They don't mess around with pricing games in my (considerable) experience. I saw considerable because there's a WF a block from work in NYC and I've spent thousands there over the years on beer that probably should have been going into an IRA instead of a beer gut.

I have found that (typically) places who receive kegs often save them for later in the year...like Philly Beer Week.

I have to laugh at places that jack up the price of KBS. The closest liquor store to me (that stocks decent beer) charges 2x per bottle what other places do on the measly one case they receive. So, I suck it up and pay the price and they get an extra, oh, $5 or $6 from me one day every year - and then I all but ignore them (if at all possible) the other 364 days a year (and I know of at least three other people in the neighborhood that do the exact same). So I hope the $150 per case these price gouging stores makes on KBS is worth the hundreds or thousands of dollars that are spent elsewhere every other day of the year.
