Would be pretty metal if all variants were announced but the bottles didn't specify what variant you actually received so you don't find out what you actually have until you actually open and drink the bottle. Sucks for trying to pull together a vertical, but awesome for cutting out the resale market...

If this is accurate... We're in for a good one... Makes sense if there are 10 variants, that would keep each to under 800 bottles, some more some less.

Got FedEx to redirect my tickets to my home. Hopefully it's all clear sailing at this point.

Also not great if you get a bottle with an ingredient you're allergic to (nuts etc).

Maybe. I'd probably sell mine for the mere fact that I don't want to spend $50 on a bottle of beer that I may not like.

To add on to this; have the variant written on the underside of the cap.

All you have to do is taste the rare, give it 5 stars on Untappd and make your friends jealous. Who cares what it actually tastes like.

I'd have to get some friends for that to work! :grinning:

Given the new pricing structure, FFF stands to profit more per person, this time around (leaving the GA tix out of the equation). Everyone is now purchasing a variant and at least $40 in food/beverage. I've been only 1/3 on the scratch-offs, and so I'll be spending more this time around than the times I was shut out.

Hopefully this means that FFF can afford to sell fewer tickets this year since they stand to make more money per person.

I know that there are lots of other variables here, and that FFF could easily keep the numbers high and make even more money, but here's hoping that the new pricing means a little smaller group this time around.

(And yes, I was there in 2012, crammed in the parking lot. Having the extra lots available has made a huge difference in just being able to breathe.)

Cramming into the parking lot in the old days (unless you had to for the line) was your first mistake. The better party was always outside of the gate

Yes, that's definitely where we ended up once we got our bottles.

Lol, was told by eTix that all tickets were shipped via FedEx. Good to know their customer service department has no idea what they're talking about.

I read through the 2015 thread and was really annoyed with all the posts of people getting/not getting their tickets. Yet here I am, waiting for my tickets, reading every one of the "Got mine, group x...." eagerly!
