Do you really think so? Nintendo hasn't used that retro DK iconography in forever. In fact sometimes it seems other companies are selling shirts with those icons without permission. I think it'd be fair game at this point.

I said a long time ago that Hoof is lucky they are so small, otherwise Nintendo would've sued the shit out of them for KD.

Can we please get off of the copywrite lawsuits, and who has the better opinion(bigger d**k) and get back to real hoof topics. I.E. Upcoming releases, brewpub news, or anyone else that makes this forum worth reading.

Here's some relevent info for yall. The imperial french toast stout is a collaboration between Flytown and HHB (Flytown is a little homebrewing operation I've been running with ole ScottjWing the past few years). The beer is a big dude who should finish around 11%. Lots of specialty malts in the mash. It'll be aged on Saigon Cinnamon and a blend of exotic vanilla beans after a refermentation with dark amber maple syrup. Its gonna be a fun one!

Got a name for that bad boy yet?
    How about:

Breakfast Hangover (Bonus option to use random umlauts over the "o")
    Hoof Hearts Haters
    Marengonads

I'm just spitballin' here. I do hope there is eventually a Hoof Hefeweizen named "Cloudy With a Chance of Wheatballs" or something to that effect.

To be fair, the mission statement printed on the bottom of each can does say Bigger dicks and copyright law ftw.
    Okay those are good.

For the canning today, they had Voltan Coffee Cuvée which I'm figuring was with Hoof's own coffee. It was pretty great. Hopefully there is more of this.

Will be interesting to taste the Jackie Os collab once that happens since it's also a coffee stout

Just got back from the canning. I'm usually an "in-and-out" type of person, as I live within a pretty short distance. I think the ticketing system is really starting to spread people over 12-5pm, which is definitely a good thing.

As far as Vic Secret goes, I think apples are the most prominent taste and smell. The color is much lighter than EWSC, which was almost mud-like. EWSVC more cream-like (I don't think this picture does it justice). This is an awesome offering and would be well worth the trade for those of you who didn't make the event. This is only my second "EWS" offering, but I look forward to other variants in the future.

Did anyone hear any rumblings about coming releases?

Maybe it's just me (and another guy I talked to) but anyone else find the finish on EWS Vic Secret to be very harsh? Like soap? My wife gave me her pour just now because she's not digging it at all. It's not terrible to me, but it's definitely my least favorite in the EWS series. The Nelson was my favorite.

^ probably sediment on the bottom of the can. I try to pour out 3/4 of the beer into a glass and drink the rest from the can. Seen this with other HH offerings.

Finish is definitely harsh (not soapy, though), but as I mentioned before I enjoy the harshness. This is my personal favorite of the EWS series and might actually be my favorite Hoof IPA. I really, really like it.
