Amazing Beer Finds

I happen to really like this beer.

 

Was just offered two 4 packs of goose island Christmas ale(bottled 2012) for $20. Is it worth buying for the cellar?

 

Yesterday while vacationing in Santa Cruz. 4-pack of KBS bottled two months ago at some random hole in the wall liquor store.

 

Went to my local grocery store this morning and was able to get 2 4-packs of KBS!

 

Got a hold of this one around the beginning of the year and it's all I drank for a month. I was coming off Enjoy By Black IPA and was looking for one to pick up the slack when I found the 4 pack. Full body, burnt notes, smoothly blended and more easily drinkable than a lot of the Founders line up. Toasty and smoove, love it.

 

Shoot, I want that display for my basement/cellar!

As for the thread topic, I saw 750s of Madame Rose today for $16. I've never had it before (since it's usually double that) so I only bought one, but I don't imagine it's going anywhere.

 

Some local small liquor stores recently had a 2 for $5 bomber special to clear out inventory. Most of the included things were quickly approaching or past their best by date like Speakeasy Double Daddy, Ballast Point Big Eye and Homework Series #6 Porter... Somehow, New Belgium La Folie was included at a couple locations. Absolute steal!

I mean....you have a credit card and a trunk right? Uhhh...no question. That's almost a buck a beer. You have permission: pull the trigger, and drink at will!

 

The last 2 years in a row i was able to score Parabola for $8.50 per bottle on the day it was released at the same liquor store. Last year i purchased 3 at this price and this year 8. Am i a bad person for not telling the manager about the mistake?

 

Hey, A-B. This kind of sad scene would never happen here in Michigan, so send us a few more cases this year.

Well, I had something that surprised me today: I found a bottle of Bell's Jupiter at the liquor store.

Yes, it is in my fridge now.

 

Picked up the Blackout Stout for $4.99 and the store also had Bells Winter Ale 4pks 16oz cans reduced to $2.99.

I'm finding this is becoming more common as there is so much beer on the shelves in WI.

 

not necessarily, the high bidder could have put in a $500 bid. Thats what I tell myself every time I lose by one bid.
