you can get three floyds but not gumballhead unless it is on tap at shenanigans, beer trappe, or lexington beerworks at the time
There was a small amount of Gumballhead around when we first got three floyds a few years ago. I have not saw it since, we struggle to get most of their 6 pack available product except Robert the Bruce.
The only year-round bottles you can find in KY are Dreadnaught, Arctic Panzer Wolf, and Robert the Bruce. Every other FFF bottle we get is SEASONAL. They usually show up near the end of the month. Jan - Behemoth Feb - Brian Boru Mar - Rabbid Rabbit April - nothing (unless you go to the brewery and buy Dark Lord) May - Blackheart June - Apocalypse Cow July - Gorch Foch August - Moloko Sept - Munsterfest Oct - Broo Doo Nov - Alpha Klaus Dec - Black Sun Stout As someone else posted earlier, occasionally somebody will have something like Gumballhead, Pride and Joy, Alpha King, or Zombie Dust on tap.
I know...I saw Beer Trappe post on Facebook literally an hour after I said that...they got "Three Floyds Dreadnaught, Three Floyds Moloko Milk Stout, Three Floyds Arctic Panzer Wolf, Founders Breakfast Stout, Stone 16th Anniversary IPA and River Town Ojos Negros!" Dreadnaught for bar consumption only. Also heard Beerworks got Bell's Oracle and Expedition for their Bell's night next Thursday.
btw, if you are looking for people to share beers with, drop a line. Lexington beer nerds need to stick together.
Yes it will be draft only. I'm sending out my 5 Oracles in a trade tomorrow Where do you normally hang out?
"hang out" is a tough thing to do when you have two kids....but when I have the chance, I end up at Country Boy and West Sixth sometimes on the weekend, and if time before pickup, Beerworks or Trappe during the week. But early hours.
I know it's not Lexington, but Moloko has finally made it to Northern KY. Just picked up 2 bombers in Florence. Now if Pumking would just get its ass in gear....
Yeah, I got Moloko Tuesday here in Lex. Pumking...no dice yet. Got it in St Louis this past weekend though. Check out these people for N.KY/Cinci. Met them at Holy Grale in Louisville a few weeks ago: http://www.hoperatives.com/
