Since they said they won't be selling to public afterwards I wonder if everyone eill get to go through a second time? Will not be happy if they do sell to public after event.

You might want to prepare yourself for not being happy. Not saying it's for sure going to happen, but you should come to terms with it. Even if they don't sell remaining bottles right after the party, I wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up at some point for sale.

And, you're still getting exactly what you paid for, so you really shouldn't be unhappy. If you like the beer and intend to drink it, what does it matter that other people also bought some? I'm sure I might feel differently if I were in your shoes, but I just thought I'd try to put a different spin on it.

Last year it wasn't a big deal they sold after event. $25 to try all those beers and got the 4 bottles. But with price hike I expect a little more exclusivity. I will def get over it because I did pay for the ticket but they will def lose a customer if they turn around and sell all remaining bottles at 6. Would feel better atleast if they gave ticket holders first shot at extras as we leave the event.

They could probably just dump the bottles down the drain and still call it a profit with all the extra cash they are fleecing their loyal customers for...

I don't think they've ever done ba death trapp but the regular bottles sit on the shelves at local liquor stores for a long time and wasn't a fan of it. The ba devils spear also was available at the brewery for quite a while. I bought a bottle shortly before they "sold out" at the brewery and was told there were plenty of bottles left. I wonder if they are just selling these now as exclusive or if they actually made more. I don't know why they would make more of a ba beer that sat for so long. With the LOE session before the general public are all the cognac bitches bank going to go before anyone can get them? I had all these thoughts so I didn't want to buy a $70 ticket just to buy 1 bottle of ba bitches bank as I don't want the others. Just my 2 cents

I had similar thoughts. I didn't care for regular Death Trapp, so a BA version wasn't really tempting, and I grabbed a couple BA Devil's Spear at the brewery. As far as the Cognac BB, that was no selling point for me, as I had it at GI's Stout Fest and dumped it out - didn't care for it at all.

I'll still swing in on occasion when I'm heading back to MI, as I like quite a few of their beers (Hunter & Deal with the Devil, to name a couple).

Thanks for the clarification. I just remembered the Cognac dominating it, which is what made me believe I wouldn't be interested in Cognac BB. Perhaps it is great, but it's not something I'd want to throw down the money for.

I think they had regular BB there, though?

Yeah they did have the regular as well. We'll have to see how tasty the Cognac BBank is...

Last year if you purchased a ticket and bought 7 beers on draft you spend $67, they were selling totebags for $5 because there was no other way to carry around the beers. So this is the same price as last year.

This is just like the ticket price bitching on the FFF thread. Either people are bad at math, reading comprehension or remembering. Or maybe they just like to bitch.

And they addressed the no selling after because of the crap show that resulted last year. People in the LOE session and session 1 could only buy one, but the session 2 people took advantage of the system and bought bottles again and again once they opened it up. I would imagine that these bottles will be for sale at some point, it's just not going to be the post session 2 free for all it was last year.

Great point, I wasn't aware of the beer prices last year. sticker shock always hits first.
I'm just curious what your opinion is regarding the cost of Designated Driver tickets.

What if you don't want 7 pours of BA beers? Last year, 4 was a stopping point for me. So if I only have 4, it is fair to still have to pay for 7? Sounds like a satellite/cable deal.

Also, you only get 2 hours. $170+ for all expenses seems pretty steep for a two hour window to be there. Gotta look at all the angles, bud.

Seconded. Please justify the "value" inherent in 2 hours in a warehouse for 2 craft sodas, food, a T-shirt, and no rights to bottle purchases for ~$75 after fees. Additionally, please justify the radio silence when they have been asked about this on The Facebook.

It appears they've sold zero DD tickets and have more than half of the second session tickets still available.
