Firestone Venice Brewery

Just picked up a Parabajava (and some Parabola and Luponic), no name asked for or recorded. Looked like there were at least 10 cases of Parabajava in the walk-in cooler.

 

I'd expect that they are developing and still working out the details of their store policies. If people are hearing different things it's probably because there hasn't been any clear direction given.

Some common sense goes a long way with things like this. If you feel like going again is circumventing limits or pulling a fast one, you should probbaly wait longer.

 

I'm just curious how a multi-brewery ban would work. Will they have an employee orientation with a photo of chemman projected on a large screen?

 

Nail hits the head. One of crappier aspects of craft beer right now. It's a real sickness for some people.

 

It's a game. I play it, a lot of ppl on here play it. The only difference is I also partake in my fair share of one of my favorite games "drink the beer" where the only loser are the empty bottles at the end of it. Hehehe. =P

People getting banned from multiple breweries... Everyone else in LA, gaming the system, is busy lining up mules for Parabajava. Anyone that doesn't fall under those two categories is complaining about something on BA...

 

i think the taking names thing is reasonable. i'd prefer that over hearing stories about ass hats getting cases and cases of limited beer (a la 54 bottles of parabajava guy). it seems like that's the state things are in. and with LA being such a big city i could see things disappearing instantly otherwise.

look forward to whatever they have planned for the future. can't wait till they start brewing, and i'm sure eventually they will hold some events and/or releases


as a side note, i think it's hilarious how much chemman seems to piss people off. that's a real skill. my hat goes off to him

Yes. I think it knocked a few of us out. I just remember being thirsty and it quenching my thirst. Haha. To be fair I had one the next day with a fresh palate and it was still delicious as fuck. Keep in mind, I'm a pilsner fan.

 

Parabajava and Parabola both sold out today.

I'm honestly surprised it lasted this long. That limiting method really did help stretch it out a bit.

 

Well she said to check tomorrow or friday, that there is supposed to be some with the next shipment.

 

I stopped by on Sunday and the place was packed. Opening weekend and all. Picked up a PJava and 2 Parabolas. The employees were working there butts off. I can't wait to go back with a bunch of friends.

 

There wasn't really any bitching for the most part. You'll see that almost everyone was cool with the way shit was handled.

 

Stopped by today and they had Parabola, Sucaba and Parabajava among others. Those three were limited to 1pp.
Also they check your license to make sure you aren't coming back for more. :-)
