    Local brewery did an already amazing RIS in Macallan 18 barrels. I wish they'd bottle it...

    Otherwise, Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye barrels housing Fundamental Observation.

    Bigfoot Barleywine aged in Laphroaig barrels (15, 18, or 25 yr old barrels - it doesn't matter as it would be delicious any which way!).

    Why hasn't Founders Imperial Stout found it's way in barrels yet? (I guess there was one tiny release on draft years ago). I bet just straight Founders IS in any old bourbon barrel would kick the crap out of KBS/CBS. Extreme answer: Founders IS aged in a combo of Pappy bourbon, Apple Brandy, and Port barrels. MAKE IT HAPPEN FOUNDERS!

    I'm not certain it would destroy KBS or anything, but overall I agree. I would absolutely love a barrel-aged version of their IS. As you noted, I'm a little surprised they haven't done it yet.
