Yep, I've had Expidition Stout andTwo Hearted and it was good. Not a big fan of Hopslam. Last bottle I had a couple years ago was to sweet.

I hope we get decent distribution ....hopefully not enjoying fresh Two Hearted for a few weeks and then having all of the old stock sit on the shelves for 16 weeks until a few fresher six packs trickle in. Hell, what am I talking about? In B/CS, we may never get the original shipment until 2019!

I'm also looking forward to at least getting a shot at some Black Note.

IIRC yes and maybe even a buck or 2 more but if they do Hopslam like KBS and other limited releases with low volume, they will probably sell it by the bottle.

Unfortunately, yes, Hopslam is that expensive.

I've had fresh Hopslam. It's good, but it ain't $20 a six pack, stress out over chasing, buy it by the bottle good.

I think its $20/6 the same way KBS is $8/bottle... but retail is closer to $15. Plus, thats still $0.27/ounce, or roughly $6 for a bomber. I can handle that once a year.

Either way, its just one of their many offerings, and not representative of the typical price point.

Then that works out really well; don't have to worry about dropping 20 on a sixer and get to enjoy some awesome beers!

This is absolutely great news. Two Hearted will forever exist in my fridge.

The thing that impressed me about Two Hearted is when I got back from Florida last year I brought back some Jai Alai along with some Two Hearted. Little did I know that my beer fridge got rearranged and a can of each was pushed into the very back. I found a 12 oz Jai Alai along with a 16 oz Two hearted that had about 4 months on them. The Jai Alai had suffered whereas the Two Hearted held up pretty damn good. I remember thinking when I was in Florida drinking both of these that Two Hearted was meh. But found that I kept wanting it when I got home. So I am really more excited about this than Jai Alai eventually making it here since Oskars bought them out.

People get really excited about $9-8 bombers of IPAs all the time.

That's not a distribution problem, it's a problem of consumers not buying enough to justify fresh shipments. It happened to Founders Centennial, Sculpin, and Endeavour, and it's going to happen to Two-Hearted. I'd put money on it.

Perhaps part of the problem, but the beer/wine managers in this area point to a particular crappy local distributor who does not care about or promote craft beers like most others. And maybe it would help to not bring in an entire truckload of Union Jack from Feb of 2015 and let it sit in the warehouse as you dole it out a case at a time as unsuspecting dupes buy 18 month old malt bombs off the shelf.

It's really a matter of forecasting on the part of distributors and retailers. When it comes to hoppy beers don't buy more than will sell through on a reasonable time period. It's really that simple but requires a crystal ball to see what is going to excite neck beards in the near future.

The problem, to me, is that I like Centennial and Sculpin and Endeavour and Union Jack and Enjoy By and all the Texas IPAs and this and that and 10 other hoppy things. But then I also really love tons of other styles. I'm only one person, so what do I buy? I rarely buy more than singles of IPAs because I don't want to commit to a six pack to drink myself. Live Oak is canning now, so I've had a ton of that in my fridge. Jester King has a new release every week plus all the Texas breweries have something new constantly. Sometimes I travel and pick up a bunch of new stuff. We're so spoiled for choice. I'll buy Two Hearted once like tons of other people and then it will fade into the sea of shelf beers.

I'm sure Joe IPA likes to buy a certain IPA all the time and drink a lot of it, but which one of the dozens of choices?
