Its seems those that are getting banned are complaining about the way the banning brewery runs its business, and those gaming the system are complaining about measures like limits, that slow them down. So let just admit everyone on here is complaining about something. Although some of the criticism is constructive.

As for the state of craft beer, yes many people game the system, but there are far more of that us that live within the limits and just establish good relationships with breweries and bottle shops and enjoy the great beer that is at our disposal.

And somehow the beers we are interested in still find thier way into our glass.

So is it safe to say they still have Parabajava and others? Planning on going today during lunch

Parabola and parabajava sold out yesterday according to someone that posted here. I'm going tonight for dinner, hopefully they get that shipment.

That was Monday. Someone who went yesterday said they still had some.

Yeah, I thought this is what I read. Some on FB posted they had a few cases yesterday, not sure if still do. Oh well, would make for a great first time visit if they still had some, but going to stop by regardless.

I am pretty sure that when they mean "sold out" they are referring to that day's allocation being out. We actually hit up both Venice and Paso Robles on Sunday while driving up - Paso Robles had "sold out" of Parabola and Parabajava which I found hard to believe considering the fact that they had imposed limits and since it is the brewery after all.

Even though you have a facet that can spew endless amounts of water, doesn't mean you let the water run all the time.

Yeah I was there on Monday at 2 pm. The worker said that both were sold out and that they were expecting some more on either Tuesday or friday. Guess they got it on tuesday. I heard her tell another guy the same thing. He said he drove down from Vegas only for Parabajava.

Why not just call to confirm before anyone decides to drive? Do people still talk on the phone?

2 years ago hearing things like this would've shocked me. Now, this is the norm. I hate beer.

You seriously going to get in to it, homie? Bottle Logic, the other place where you can't step foot in, also has this same statement, Ground State sold out.. but some hit distribution two weeks after it was proclaimed sold out.

Sold out, in this case, means they can't magically pull from their asses a case of beer that they don't have in stock. Especially when the warehouse that holds them is sourcing it to their three locations spread out by hundreds of miles. Until transporter technology gets to it gets, they can't just keep an infinite amount of beer, especially one that had a massive sell through back in November, in stock on the regular.

Perhaps the better phrase, which you could have inferred from their statement, was that it's currently out of stock and will be getting replenished in the future.

But hey, keep on haranguing those Firestone walker people, I'm sure that will score you some high five points for sticking it to the Lion and Bear and teaching them to disrespect such a loyal customer. This is pretty much what I mean when your brand of criticism is directly responsible for the black listing you got and why you can't play the victim here.

Guys, lets stop revisiting the BWX PJ sale. That horse has been beaten so many times, right now everyone is just hitting soil. It was mishandled. They shipped as much as they could stock down from their off-site storage warehouse that supplies both the Paso stores and BWX and they ran out of stock. Subsequent to release day, more product was sent down periodically to stock company store shelves. Shit happens.
Don't forget, it's just beer. It's meant to be enjoyed.

Just to recap or if some of you are still wondering about FW.

Just visited the FW store, opens at 12pm not 10am like stated by Google btw, was the first one there since I work about 15 min away.

Spoke to the cashier there and his response due to the limit was people were going so far to purchase as many PJ as possible that they would change outfit and wear accessories to disguise them. Hoard a group of people and purchase them under their license (assuming paid cash or guests credit card of course). Also stated its 1 per customer, they log your DL and that's final, until next release. This makes it fair for non-locals have a chance to buy it.

There's no day limit on PJ, just whatever they have, they don't have a reason to cap it as long as new customers are buying it.

As of 12:20pm they had 10 PJ.

Edit* Just in case you're wondering I did not just buy PJ; bout a Parabola, Agrestic and pack of Luponic.

I'd like to keep talking about FW Venice. Anybody get word on when growler fills and tasting will happen in the company store? Looked like there was a system set up but it wasn't quite ready. At least there weren't any handles on.
