Aren't you going through a divorce too?

 

Group A was encouraged to line up in a seperate line at the north gate last year but it wasn't necessary. My friend and I had group A last year and stayed in line with our other friends at the south gate. I don't recall reading anything official from FFF about that yet this year.

 

Rad. I'll probably stick to the plan to stay together to get in, figure out a good meeting spot, and then head towards lining up inside.

 

They haven't announced it this year yet, but if it's like last year - You can go through either. If you go to the north gate, you'll enter directly into the bottle queue as an A group member. If you go to the south gate, you can just hang out and enter the bottle line at your leisure.

Allegedly non-A group tickets aren't supposed to come in the north gate, but they did last year, so it wasn't enforced. We'll see when they update the FAQ when the event draws closer. There's always a new wrinkle.

 

For me, I just want to keep our group together and hang with friends as much as possible. I get more out of the fest sharing beers with pals than I do scoring BAVDL (even though I do really want a bottle of it)....

But as long as we can all enter together through some entrance, then I'm good.

 

There's been no clarification from FFF. The last few years, anybody can enter wherever, but group a was encouraged to enter on side, but last year they took all groups, and it was a giant cluster fuck. Especially with it being by will call.

 

Is it just me or is this the latest they've ever announced the band lineup?

 

Stupid newbie question: Are they gonna release Dark Lord in stores like Binny's, Whole Foods, Jewel, etc or is it just the only place you will be able to get it.

Last year they sold 2014 Darklord at the kiosk the week before DLD. Don't know if they have any 2015 that they will sell.

 

Fair point. There may be this type of exception but a total crapshoot if it would even occur. But certainly no distro for DL.

 

Definitely seems Really late, it was sometime in late March last year when COC announced they were playing. Wonder if they've got something big up their sleeves or maybe just having trouble securing some of the acts. But I'm eagerly awaiting this announcement as they've previously had some really good bands. Gonna be hard to top Obituary and COC from last year.

The eTix email I received saying that my tickets had shipped (after I had already received them) said that the band lineup would be released "next week." I suspect they'll release the lineup any day...

 

With the upcoming collaboration im really hoping that at the gates gets announced

I have a friend who works at FFF and he's gone so far as to say they've kept the lineup a secret from employees, too. So it should be a surprise to everyone whenever it comes out.
