My understanding is that they want to get passed this initial crush of people visiting the taproom and they want to start brewing beer. Once those things and I'm sure other factors come into play they will start filling growlers. I'm excited about the one offs that will be available for growler fills only at this location. Soon!

I also hope not. I definitely want continued updates on this place. Have been watching this thread for months anticipating the opening. Most information so far has been very helpful.

Currently the Brewery Store has two beers on draft for growler fills, the beer depends on what they put on draft that day/week. The plan is to have a draft system installed with I think 8-10 draft lines for growler fills & tasters, much like the new Brewery Emporium in Paso. Hope that helps

I really want to get FWV to stick... I like the Propagator too, but FWV makes me weak in the knees...

8-10 options for tastes AND possibly growler fills? That's exciting news. It hardly looked like there was space for that behind the counter, but I look forward to seeing the completed product once it reaches its ultimate goal.

It's a great addition to the area already, and yet there is still so much more to come. Looking forward to a fully operation FWV, and hopefully the competition helps push other local breweries.

Is it true that on Saturday there was a club-esque line out the door? I like FW and want to bring friends here but they are going to unfriend me if I do and there is a crazy line. I'm still recovering from when I brought them to Silverlake Ramen and they didn't want to wait in the prohibitively long line. It was a freakin Tuesday erg!

On a semi-related note, after we gave up on Silverlake Ramen we just went to our go-to, El Compitas in Midcity, aka best burrito place.

I went on Saturday night and there was a line because they were at capacity. It went quickly though, as people left they let more in. Think it's just the excitement of the opening. I'm sure it will be more manageable down the line. Also, you can make reservations

I live right by that Silver Lake Ramen and have to say, the lines it gets baffle me. I don't think their ramen is that good. Good for them though

In a local paper called the Argonaut, there was an article about the new taproom/brewery with an interview of David Walker. In it he mentions that they want to do collaborations with some local breweries once the brewery part gets going. I think this could be a good thing for the brewing scene in LA.

Grabbed one of each earlier today. First time at the brewery and definitely won't be my last.

For those who haven't picked up your bottles yet, get over to Venice!

I'll be there in a week and a half with my fiance! Fortunately, she enjoys coming on beer-centric trips with me.

Yep I grabbed bottles today also. The was 15 PJ in the case behind the counter and only 1 other person in the store. Of course he grabbed some too.
