BA Dark Lord gathering Chicago

Well there seem to be a few options out there right now. There is the tasting group going on the 22nd with the 05-present DL vertical. There are also a few people who are available the 28/29th weekend. There are a few people with bottles that did not specify a date.

Heres a spreadsheet I made up real quick with people who said they are available the 28/29th weekend.

If anyone else has a preference to the 28/29th let me know and I'll add your bottles. I can also add a section for regular DL if anyone would like. This is all just to get options for dates and check availabilities. Not every bottle I listed will be brought for example, it is just what I have available.

 

DL vert 05-12 can only be done the 23. Scott is coming to Chicago to celebrate his pending marriage so for us that's set in stone

Depending on the number of people, I've already offered my place up in Logan Square for the DL vert tasting for Scott's bach party. If we did an afternoon tasting, say around noon, prior to the Rev Brew party on Sept 22, would that convince others with BA DL's who were on the fence to attend?

 

I've got a cognac moloko to share if that gets my girlfriend and I in. Also have other barrel aged stouts that could be fun comparisons. Need a definite date though to make it happen.

 

I have a congac version I could bring, but it would depend on the date and location

 

Honestly there's just no way I could see doing a BA DL tasting followed by a beer Fest. There's a chance I won't go to Oktoberfest though, but I'd rather keep the date open. Nothing stopping you guys from the very tasting and a BA DL tasting the next week

So my offer was clear, I will bring 2-3 BA Dark Lords or dl variants to the table along with my girlfriend. If I only can take 1 bottle, I would still like her to come we will just share my drinks.
