:grimacing: Wow 42! Quite the haul - hopefully the rumors aren't true, for your sake!

I actually just went downstairs and grabbed one for tonight...and...it's delicious!

Yeah, didn't expect to see cases upon cases still sitting this late in NYC or I would not have been so aggressive on the front end.

I had a 13.7% last night it was perfect, that being said, I'm making a conscious effort to drink all bourbon county bottles this year sooner than later just to be safe.

Huh, my 2011's are drinking stellar, still have ten or so.

Maybe it's was just bad luck. Had been kept cool and dark all this time so don't think it was a storage issue. Envious of your stash though, 10...dang.

Wait I thought all infections pertained to BCBCS and BCBBW? The one BW I had was awful but the two BCBS were perfect. Still sitting on 3 more and WF had some as of a few days ago so was considering picking another up.

It was one of those things. Shopped a store I don't usually hit as it is known for "shelf aged" beers and is dark and dusty, as well as not close to me. Found a whole case just sitting on shelf, maybe 2 weeks after the release, actually got a case discount on it too.

I'm still in awe of the fact that shops still have cases sitting around.

Somehow Clinton deli, on the westside, just got another 10 cases...

Clinton gourmet corp.? I see their posts on beermenus and have always wondered what their deal was. Are they shady? How are their prices?

For a deli they have a great selection and the prices are average for NYC. Unless the manager tries to sell you heady for $10 per can...

Hah, for real? They occasionally post FW Vintage bottles and I've been tempted to bike up there. Something about a deli selling limited release just seems shady to me though.

It's about a 15 minute walk from my office. Walked over there yesterday and bought a bottle of Is This The Real Life? and the Central Waters Rye Chocolate Porter. Sometimes they post something and when you arrive it doesn't exist, even if you ask if they have it in the back, etc. It's trippy that they have empty boxes of FW limited releases and BC Vanilla Rye just hanging around.

Had BW at a tap takeover last week and it was so off the goose rep had to pull it. My two bottles were also extremely sour.

Still waiting on my tshirt and re-issued check.....any day now.

Had the entire set in the past week. Coffee and barley wine infected, everything else fine.
Bought a growler of regular BCBS at Cable Beverages yesterday.

Opened a bottle last night that had the same dates as those with infections; 21OCT15. No issues. Tasted amazing.

Probably just bad luck, I opened two of my 2008 recently and they were straight fudge bombs.
