I'm kinda waiting to see how I feel as it gets closer, as well as what my buddy is bringing so we don't double up.

 

I could bring the ten best bottles in my cellar and not even come close to what some of you are bringing. Some are bringing 5-10 bottles that are all bigger whales than the biggest whale I've ever had, much less the biggest whale in my cellar (which is probably BA Darkness).

 

Shouldn't be too hard, the number of sub 200 lbs people at dark lord has to be in the single digits.

 

Not yet, but when they called to confirm my room they said they would put an authorization on my card on 4/15

 

That's the beauty of dark lord day man. Just bring some beers you'd be happy to drink, and as long as you're friendly, you'll have no problem getting offered pours of many of the beers being listed here.

Agreed. Many people, including myself, were offering pours to random people walking by.

I like the glasses and all, but what I would've liked even more would've been to have more guest taps.

 

I was in line for glasses after my group B pick-up, got tired of waiting and decided to leave. It was nice of them to be handing out free coffee though. Ended up going online a few days later and purchased chalices, beer stein coffee mugs as well as the three different snifters.

Exactly. Be friendly and care about what you're pouring (and what you're getting) and you'll be fine. I've had some not so great tastes at DLD in the past but the folks offering the beer were genuinely excited about them. That's all that matters to me. Not my place to judge what someone thinks is a cool brew.
