Pretty good chance these bottles hit distro as well. But lines for their releases are never awful, and you can show up any time that weekend and almost be guaranteed a full allocation.

They released JSP bottles last year around LCBW too, so that makes sense. Yet another bottle to look forward to buying

I was underwhelmed by last year's effort. In fact, I'm largely opposed to buying bottles in this town before I've had a chance to sample after being burned the last few times around. It's supposed to get a sneak preview on tap Saturday.

So just received a message from country, looks like the Mexican chocolate stout will be released in May :slight_frown:. The BA jalapeño smoked porter will be released on April 23rd though! Might have to try it before I grab a bottle but just wanted to leave it up here.

70K and Gnight Rider will be bottles only, no draft on site. I had this batch of 70K last week and it is pretty solid. Will be sold on premise and go to accounts as well.

'Pretty solid' seems a bit reserved for what's widely considered the best beer in this state. :/

Sorry, smelled like rich mahogany and tanned leathers. Mouthfeel was like the satin of a South African gorillas sunburned bottom.

In all honesty, has someone had this batch of 70K and can comment on it? Want to know whether to drive over

I haven't had this particular batch of 70K, but if I lived in Lexington and could take a couple bottles home, I'd certainly make the drive.

You mean this version lost the faint notes of unicorn milk and century-old oaked port? Screw it. Must suck.

Have you had 70K before? If so, did you like it? The folks at AtG are pretty dang good at brewing, so if you enjoyed 70K in the past I would bet you will probably enjoy this as well.

Yes, it's pretty solid. Make the trip.

I have, and I did. However, I was not as big a fan of the 2015 batch as I was the 2014 batch, which was phenomenal. So when someone says the 2016 batch is 'pretty solid,' I don't interpret that as a ringing endorsement of a beer that will change in flavors from batch to batch. So I asked for some clarification.

In other news, I am surprised I have yet to see the citra ass down cans in Lexington. Also, fresh dreadnaught has made its way here. Grabbed a bottle from liquor barn. That and fresh gumballhead. Yes please.

I don't think I've seen any in Louisville stores, either, so you'e not alone. There's still a ton of 4/1 Dreadnaught around here as well. I'd like it if we could see some Permanent Funeral, but I can't complain.

From what I hear permanent funeral should be making its way to Lexington soon. I haven't seen any of it Brewed recently but that is what liquor barn told me. Only DIPA I haven't tried from them!

I don't really pay attention to the batches. I've had it every time it's on and its been a pretty solid beer every time. People also have to understand the past versions of 70K were brewed on the system at the brewpub and this batch was brewed in the production brewery....so what you tasted back then will be different from this batch due to the equipment used. In essence, it's worth getting in line for and obtaining.

Curious if anyone has ever placed an order through a beer store. I placed an order and I know this is probably far fetched but for Zombie Dust. Curious if this a reach or not but they said they would put it through.
