Carton Brewing (April 2016)

I'd be surprised if this doesn't last until next week. Even their most popular can, Regular coffee lasted two weeks.

 

I'm confidant it will last the day. But I bet this goes quick. It is a version of All Green Everything which is in the top 150. I would think you will the addition of Other Half fans and people who say"I've always wanted to try something from Other Half, this may be my only chance. "
If someone waits till next Saturday you just may get shut out.

The cavaet to this is I have no idea how much they brewed so really I am just talking out my hat.

 

Carton FB comments on the release post for AOE says there's a line now but moving quickly.

 

If it were to last the day today, next chance would be Wednesday though. Unless I'm mistaken.

 

When Carton releases a beer on a one case allotment they are doing so knowing they've brewed enough for at least a couple of days retail-wise. Should be available Wednesday and perhaps Thursday with lower limit per person.

 

Leave it to OH to post this on Instagram and cause the masses to come. Too nice a day to hunt beer for me, hopefully it makes its rounds on tap.

 

I'm sure I'll miss it. Not a big deal but it figures that I hit Carton right at opening yesterday on my way to Kane. Debated whether to go yesterday or today. As the old knight in Indiana Jones said, "he chose...poorly."

 

Not really suprising, but A.O.E. is all over the trade forum already

 

Left about an hour ago they had 1 pallet left.

Agreed. I know OH has space issues, but Carton releasing this is just much more convenient for someone who lives equal distance from both breweries.

A forty minute drive on a Sunday afternoon with no line sure beats a forty minute drive early Saturday morning with a guaranteed hour-plus line at best.

It's not a knock on OH just a rational assessment. Until they can expand they're kind of hamstrung with these Saturday releases. I don't think they have the holding power to do it on any other day.

No offense to @HopBomb515 though and if you are ever down on LBI I'll buy you a beer at The Arlington even though you like the Eagles (summer season tho - yea i'm a bennie). :-)

 

If this doesn't last past Wednesday then where's the backlash on the limits that Kane always gets?

 

I opened one up a little earlier. Thought it was a bit too boozy

 

Drank it at the brewery today and didnt get any booze at all

 

Ha, no other brewery gets the flack Kane gets. People love to jump all over Kane for some reason.
