Places that land ET distribution usually get 12 bottles annually. If they landed, they've already sold out I suspect.

Should be this week -- I heard something about it being held up in order to come out on 4/20 in DC; might be the case here as well.

It seems like it's become cool to shit on Parabola and KBS. I don't get it.

 

Drank one of each yesterday. Loved them.

I always say "drink what you like", however I can see it as...

1. Parabola and KBS aren't the "new whales", so people who only focus on "the absolute best" might not like these two beers as much.
2. Some people on the other end who are more than happy to drink craft beer you can buy at a store without trouble might think chasing beers constantly is a bit silly might do so too...

These two beers aren't "new" or easy to get so...

 

KBS and Parabola are both 5 star beers in my opinion and they are worth hunting. Sure there is always going to be that new "it" beer, but both of these have been around for awhile and they still knock it out of the park year after year.

Curious how others would rank BCBS, KBS, and Parabola...or other stouts. Me personally its Parabola, KBS, and BCBS. The only 2 stouts I have had in the past year that have come close are SMS and the one Lost Rhino did this year.

it's not notable but ffs has anyone seen bell's oberon cans in DC proper? I've seen them ONLY at barmy without a price tag but I presume they're like $50 there because that place is dumb. bottles on bottles on bottles at whole foods, giant, harris teeter, etc. but the cans are eluding me. cans are so much better to tailgate at RFK with.

 

Dominion has Supreme Leader on draft. I liked it.

 

My local Yes! Organic actually has the 12-pk of cans on sale for 18 bucks, down from 20.

 

I saw cans at Pearsons on saturday

 

Arrowine had it. Some other places as well. Also expect to see it on draft at the usual haunts.
