Theme is............... Local as heck. 4x bottles of a local brewery not distributed nationally. No pirate life allowed.

4x other bottles must be of the following styles

Is Plonk any good? Might be heading to Canberra for other reasons, will stop in if it's worth it.

I feel it's gone downhill a bit since owners changed hands. Still by far the best range and one of only a couple places that stock anything at all interesting, but disappointing how far behind they are with ordering new releases. The vast majority of stock sits out of the fridge for months, quite high prices (even for AUS) too.

Superb whiskey selection, solid range of local and imported wines, very friendly and fairly knowledgeable staff. I'd say it's worth a visit, just be aware they are only open Thurs-Sun inside the Fyshwick Markets.

It is a BIF (Beer It Forward).

If you wish to participate, you register your interest generally by messaging the person running the BIF (mulder1010) and sending the shipping address for where you would like the box that goes to you to be delivered. You can update your Wants list on here to make it easier for your sender to find things that you might like/want.

mulder1010 then assigns every participant a target (the person they send a box to). You know who you are sending to, but don't know who is sending to you.

Some BIF's have certain rules, this one had:

Everyone should adhere to the rules and most people generally send more than the minimum number of beers, ounces, etc (extras...extra beer - things off their wants list, glassware, coasters, pens, pencils, t-shirts or whatever you think the recipient might like).

There is a shipping deadline (the date in which your box must be sent by) and once your box is sent, you don't inform the recipient (keep that a surprise), but send the tracking details to mulder1010.

You can keep people interested by posting hints and then once the box arrives, you take a picture and post the haul.

They are generally a lot of fun. There have been probably a handful of Australian BIF's run before in here, with mulder1010 often taking on the responsibility/work of running them.

Hope that makes sense and hope to see you in one.

Busy with other things of late so time has been short.

Not that much interest in this so moving onwards and not doing one.

Ill tell you how it is:
the ponies on this here site,
are tooooo busy taking there labradoodles down to the dawg park for a playdate in their Brown BMW X1's ( with ski roof racks), to be bothered boxing up some booze and shunting it out the post office to another playa.
    you hear me?

Just jokes, sad this didn't get up,as they are good fun,
