You can find most caps using the extensive database on the Crowncaps.Info website...

    http://www.crowncaps.info/index.php

Select the 'CC.I Crown Cap Catalogue' option on the left side of the screen, then select 'Picture Search'. From the drop down list select 'Trees' (in this case). The database will return seven pages of caps with trees on them. This particular cap appears on page 7 of 7. Click on the cap picture for details of the brewery, city of origin etc. Good luck.

This is an AB product by the name of Azteca, ads say Hecho en Mexico, so you be the judge. Some of these caps have "Anheuser Busch" on the rim, and some do not.

Good stuff. I saw some articles, but could never find a picture directly linking it. Did you see an ad?

Yes, I have pics of the caps and the ad but once again I tried to post images, but it's not working. Don't have time for multiple step games to post images. Sorry, I will try again later.

Good enough for me, thanks. I'm just curious because l think l drank the beer, but can't quite remember when or where. Most of my caps from that era l can recall the info about, but was never sure about that one until now.

A friend gave me a bunch of bottle caps for my collection. In the bunch were 3 I couldn't ID. I scanned them and uploaded them to Google Images. Google found the first one only - Green Man from Asheville, NC. The next two I found using http://beermapping.com/brewery-maps/us-brewery-map/
I clicked on the breweries on the map near my friend's home and found Grayton for the G cap. They make 30A that I've seen in other bottle cap threads. Using the beermapping.com search engine, I typed in "yellow" and found Yellowhammer from Huntsville for the yellow bird cap.
I've asked this friend to take a photo of the bottle he gets a cap from for future reference.

ugh. I see pics posted in this thread and check for responses, then go to work. Readin' is important! (In my defense, I wouldn't have expected bottle caps in the "NTBC" thread to have already been named! ;-) )

Yes, I like beermapping, too. I recently found out, however, that you can put an address in Google Maps, then in the search nearby, put in "brewery" (or try a couple of different terms -- brewpub, beer, etc) and it will give you the points on the map and is probably a little more up-to-date than that site. Great for traveling for beer.

Yeah, l couldn't help notice a few now-defunct breweries on there. Thanks for the pointer, too!
