    Must be nice
It sucks living about an hour away from Carton with no car but easy access to NYC brews does do a pretty good job of filling that void

I'm actually further away than you. I'm an hour and a half. However my brother isn't far from Carton and doesn't mind going to pick up beer for me.
My sister lives 5 minutes from Kane and is a regular there.
They both end up with very nice Christmas/Birthday presents.

I was saying that every time it is a shit show Mike Kane looks confused, not that it's a shit show every time. Maybe my wording was off a bit.

Their releases are still not great. When Carton drops something I know I can pretty much get it, not the same with Kane. They need to figure out a lot more than line que.

@JosephThompson we always do the table the first days of a release, it just used to take longer for word to spread so people would show up the second or even third weekend in the case of regular coffee.
@HopBomb515 its all the same as last year. the only thing different is it is early spring. you will remember that when you were all upset last time i needed to explain to you that we are a shore brewery and demand greatly spikes in the summer at the beach. well here comes summer and it will all be the same. then summer will end it's the circle of life.

I am a big fan of North/ Central/ South Jersey
So anything above Morristown is North
anything below of Freehold is South

So between Morristown and Freehold is good old central NJ
Central NJ is a real thing lol

So, when you can get the beer the release is done well but when you miss out, things need to be figured out? Interesting mindset.

Maybe it's just me, I've rather enjoyed the way Carton and Kane has done it lately. If you follow their social media and you didn't have plans prior, as a local, you get a better chance at the allotments. I don't see a problem with this. I think the last ANTEAD release was the one where people were on Facebook crying bloody murder for some reason.

I was out and about taking pictures in Asbury Park and found out about All Orange Everything. Sad that I couldn't make it but I know plenty of friends that did, and that makes me happy. Maybe there'll be some on Wednesday and I can get some, maybe there won't.

I was shocked Regular Coffee lasted as long as it did, and pleasantly so. I'm digging the onslaught of Carton releases, even if I don't get to enjoy all of them. Now I'm actually worried that my fridge is looking a little too... orange? That's a good thing, right!? :sunglasses:

Eden is on for growler fills at Kelly's in Belleville.

Hoping AOE makes the rounds in kegs (cough, cough...Kelly's in Belleville or Shop Rite in Wallington)

@augiecarton You guys are really great with the cans lately. Stay away summer! Can you expand on why AOE was a case limit, as opposed to 2 or 3 four packs pp? Just curious as I know AGE is usually 3 four packs pp at OH.

I think his point is that it's easier to get Carton releases consistently than it is to get Kane's.

Yes, Central NJ is rarely referred to but is very much a thing. Monmouth/Ocean county (where I reside) is Central NJ.

Agreed. Though I'm not 100% convinced its due to the process or Kane not doing anything to remedy the situation (they do have some new 80BBL fermenters coming this week to increase production). I think Kane might be a little more popular which increase demand or at least the beers they release are more sought after.

that beer, and a million other colabs should have been done years ago, but we are very small and over subscribed so we have had trouble getting to them. truth is with summer bearing down on us it was a "now or next year" situation so we shoehorned it in the schedule. but it's mid april and we have no space so an extra canning run needed to get out of the way of all our regular life stuff. our gamble is without any brewery driven hype on a spring sunday at a case per person that could get there, enough cool people would get some that other cool people could get their hands on it. so far i think we are ok.

So did AOE make it through the day or am I risking the dreaded "availability will be posted on Wednesdays and Saturday's" by asking?

"Tasting room availability is posted on FB on wednesdays and saturdays before the sessions begin."

But in all seriousness, I left around 4 Sunday and there was less than a pallet left as per the guys downstairs. They said 50/50 it'd last til Wednesday. So . . . if there's any, it ain't much.
