Ha, yeah. I'm also curious to know how many folks will attend this, cause while 2 bottles is a great way to keep moderation, my usual MO when I roll into a typical bottle share is to just bring a case of stuff so everyone can have a fairly solid pour of the offerings.

If it's two bottles per and the head count is too large, this will become a case of either
A.) Show me yours and I'll show you mine
B.) Midwest sized .5 ounce pours for everyone!

Which, I guess is only fitting since Firestone has a habit of showing up in the midwest way before it ever shows up on the west coast.

Not made in a gov't approved facility? No way to know how many pubes made it into your wort.

word on the street is almost every single person that ordered maxed their allocations, so unless people just dont show up for the share, its gonna be packed.

50 ounces of beer per person means this is going to be some cliquish sort of barter town level share.

I will confirm that myself and @kristy7911 bought full allotments and will not be in attendance. :stuck_out_tongue:

fwiw, I'm expecting more than 2 bottles/person on average, based on this: "Bring a bottle to contribute & then kick back as we crack open some of our favorite brews." Of course, I'm setting myself up for disappointment, but that's how it goes at Barrelworks events for me these days.

yeah, these days my liberation expectations are lowered. Thankfully Venice is opening... eventually.

The event starts at 11, so I'm presuming that's when the share begins. Does anyone know how long the share lasts? Apologies if this is in plain sight somewhere, but I'm not finding it.

Per the email (which you've presumably gotten if you RSVP'd, but posted here just in case):

edit - looking back at my email and theres no email for RSVP details. did it come from FW or BPT? When was the cut off? I just emailed them now so hopefully its not too late.

March 29th is when that BPT notification email went out to RSVP.

It came from BPT. Did you max out your allocations?

Well, that was definitely better than the last liberation. Not the best Barrelworks event I've been to (how could it be, without donut holes), but got to try a lot of beers I wouldn't have otherwise. Had to leave before the DDG was opened.

It was an excellently executed event, Champs is amazing...Champs des fraises means Strawberry Fields

Had the peach yesterday. Very tasty, though not especially peachy (as Buster might say, there was a smack of peach). Less tart than most of BW's beers.
