Hi guys. For my beer-cation in NYC/New England, I was wondering what beers should I bring there. I can't bring USA beers so I was looking for some European beers. I can get these fairly easy and I just want to know if they have any value in NYC and I can trade with some locals.
    • 3 Fonteinen Oude Gueuze
    • Cantillon Lambic Bio / Kriek / Gambrinus
    • De Struise Pannepot / Reserva / Grand Reserva
    • Gulden Carolus Indulgence Whisky Infused
    • De Docther van de Korenaar varieties
    • Dupont varieties
    • Amager Sinner Series
    • Hornbeer varieties

+ Is it easy to get west coast beers in New York like BP V@S, Cascade sours, and Fifty Fifty Eclipse or so? Though they are big breweries so I guess they distribute to east coast.

    Cheers!

I'm sure many of those you won't find, but just use www.beermenus.com to search for beers on sale in NYC.

Those are quality beers, should be able to trade them. V@S release was a while ago, not sure how much is sitting around. I have a few and the Peppermint version in the cellar as well. Cascade sours are pretty easy to come by if you're not picky about which, and 50/50 might still be around because of its high price tag. Beermenus helps. Message me if you want more info / good spots to check out!

For sure, loons also sit on the shelf in Japan. They probably don't actually get more than us over there, it's just that the demand isn't as high for some reason.
