Melvin Coming to CO

That is a great spread of the (mostly) non-hyped beers that make up my day-to-day drinking.

As for Melvin, I broke into my second 2x4 four-pack last night and I prefer Hubert. Something about 2x4 isn't translating to the cans for me.

Different styles, obviously, but that Hubert...just...man...really good stuff.

had 2.. 2x4 last week got to say one of the 1/2 dozen or so best 2IPA'S ive had, looking for some more.

 

I'm bringing Melvin to DLD which could potentially be shared with people from all over the country/world.

Just picked up the regular IPA today, I'll report back. Heard good things. Nice price point. I considered the double IPA but didn't necessarily need some 10% beers in my weekend- needed something sessionable. Love that we're getting lots of new beers lately, especially hoppy stuff!

Finally got to try * and lived up to the hype. Now if we could only get some of the cans here as well.

 

Asterisk won't be canned, but expect bombers in the fall if everything goes according to plan.

 

I was talking about any cans in general. Will take bottles of * or crowlers if it hits certain spots.

 

Been reading the last few pages for answers, but tough to track down...so here goes. Is there any Melvin beers in 4 packs or Bombers in the Parker area? My wife is out there this weekend, and her limit will be a total of two liquor stops. She will be downtown Denver also, so I suggested she check Argonauts also. Any tips? Specifically interested in 2x4, *, Shaolin. Cheers!

 

2x4 is the only one of those canned and it is also the only one offered in the four pack format at the moment. Hubert and Melvin IPA are also offered in six packs.

Don't sleep on those sixers @tylerstravis mentioned! Also, if your wife is coming from Parker to Downtown Denver I would recommend dipping over to Grapevine to see their supply. Also, Mr. B's by Coors Field has had some in the past. I'd give both a call first to check supplies.

@jwwhitney Shaolin and * are draft only out here. Also, if your wife is only stopping at 2 stores she should be able to find everything at Argonaut. I go there 1-2 times a week and they have always had 2x4, Hubert and IPA in stock.
