CW RBCP at TW Bloomington. They also had LB Irish Coffee Stout with an extra $2 off coupon...

Thomas does a bent paddle variety pack! We also do an Indeed one, and a summit IPA one (2x saga, 2x true Brit, 2x horizon)

It looks like 56 is now doing all of their flagships and seasonals in bottles (bomber format). Elevated got all of them in. I don't know the price, but they are hopefully significantly cheaper than the last beer they released.

I had the 56 Brewing Lake Sandy Rye out of a bottle recently & it was awful. It's a distressing trend that new breweries seem to be unable to get bottling/canning right out of the gate. I'll be avoiding them until I hear otherwise.

I had this beer at lunch today since I haven't had anything from 56. I haven't heard many great things about them, but I was still curious....I chose poorly.

On tap or out of the bottle? Many places that have cranked out shitty bottles initially are much better on tap, & I was hoping that was the case for 56 Brewing, too.

Had their dark chocolate coconut stout, and it was a big hit. Bought their pale ale and it was not good.

The stout was good enough to give them another shot, but much like Flat earth, if you are batting below .333 you aren't getting money out of my wallet

I would give 56 brewings dark chocolate coconut stout a shot, pretty similar and I thought it was equally good.

I still have a couple cans of DBC if you want to trade something

Cassian was out at Chicone's in an hour yesterday (or so I was told - nothing else they told me turned out to be true), so if you're not already in your car, you may be out of luck.
