yes FwB, anyone know when those hit distro?

 

I thought the Pipeworks Smoked Porters have been good, not great. However, I love sour porters, so very looking forward to trying it. The brewery is about 4 blocks from where I live. So it will be quite convenient when the bottle shop opens.

It's been decided: next Berliner Weisse will be Southern Belle Sour Peach! Mashing in on Saturday. Blue Lady should be in bottles next week and distribution will be TBD.

+1 I'm loving Berliner Weisses right now. A sour peach one sound so unique and sooooooo good

 

Heard some whispers today about a different beer coming out next week, supposedly not one of the 3 mentioned but beerpulse didn't catch the label. Dk how much truth their is to it maybe pipeworks can verify.

It seems like everyone on here is dying for the Berliner Weiss, so I thought I'd mention that perennial just released a peach Berliner that just hit Chicago so that should hold everyone off for a week until the blueberry one hits our lips. Or you can sit on it for a month or so and compare it since everyone else on here lives comparing side by side like the consumer reports of beer.

Had Perennials tonight. Haven't had many Berliner's but wasn't a huge fan of it. Very refreshing though.

Just finished a Something Always Hoppy! Wish it was easier to get this stuff and a little less expensive, but still really enjoy!

 

Nice! Been looking forward to this and the sour peach. Hopeing blue lady hits others stores (Binnys Gand & South Loop) tomorrow or Friday. For some reason I just have this feeling that Pipeworks is going to nail Berliners.
