Dark Lord Day 2016

Pre-6am all the lots close are coned off and no one is working them yet. Last year I was a little before 7 and they were still coned off and I had to park in centennial. So I guess I'm saying pre 6 for sure, pre 7 possibly.

We're just going to walk from the Hampton. Only 25 minutes, gets the blood pumping, no car or shuttle schedule to worry about. Plus I'm a hiker, so it doesn't bother me, and I'm cheap. That's 10 more dollars for the taps!

 

Anyone taking the 8:30am shuttle from The Open Bottle? Hoping for a little bottle share on the way.

 

My buddy and I will be doing the same thing. We will also be 'hiking it' back to hotel after we get our allotment to drop off the bottles and then come back. Will be a nice break from all the drinking for a bit and will help sober us up so we can last the entire fest. Last year I was there from 10 to 10, and I plan on it again this year.

 

Asking the important questions

 

Probably 5 or 6 am. They have an awesome machine that has 3 or 4 different juices. Orange, Apple, Cranberry at least. Probably grape too! I normally do a mix of Cranberry and Apple.

 

WHEN ARE THEY ANNOUNCING THE FUCKING BANDS??

I was thinking of doing this as well, after I get my bottles in Group D, but then add a 30 minute power nap onto the plan. Missing an hour of the middle of the fest is no biggie, plus I want to stay until 10 this year.

 

@IlCraftWjgman Trying to figure out what to bring. Got some BA FFF, KBS, BCBS plus variants, BA Darkness, Black Note, bunch of BA from Hailstorm and Pipeworks, etc. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

 

Good luck on the 30 minute nap. I know of multiple 30 minute naps turning in to 15 hour naps

What are the parking options available at/near the event? I know they'll go fast, but I'm planning on getting there before open.

I was in the room with a buddy, he wanted woke up in 20 minutes. I tried, he said "I'm sleeping" and didnt say another word (except for some drunk jabbering in his sleep) until the next morning.

 

There's a ton of parking available around the brewery at all the offices/businesses in the area. Now, they're all relatively expensive, and if I remember correctly I paid 20$ for a pretty close spot. The park directly across from the office park I believe is the cheapest, but its a small hike. Last year, the close parking was totally worth it, but that's due to weather. I'll probably park at centennial this year.

 

Yep I saw that case oz. limit. I'm not sure I'd want much more weight than that hanging off my back anyhow
