Hmm. I dont think I've had ANYTHING by them - one of those brands I've avoided, although I can't say why. Maybe I'll try to find it on draft somewhere

Hopfield's north of UT is pretty good at having their seasonals on draft.

Lagunitas kicks ass. They're tied with Sierra Nevada for best value vs taste IMHO. Can't beat a 6-pack of 9-10% ABV beer for $8-$9. If you can't find Wild, just get a 6-er of Sumpin Sumpin or IPA Maximus, which are both excellent year rounds.

It's Little Sumpin Sumpin made with wild yeast. It pretty much describes it perfectly if you know the base beer. I like it, but not better than the base beer. I usually have 1 or 2 a year on tap.

I like the regular Lagunitas IPA better than Maximus. But Lagunitas is one of my favorite breweries. Grab a Hop Stoopid if you like IIPAs. I think they just hit the shelves. Super beer!

I tried it for the first time this year and was blown away by it. Definitely worth seeking out.

Question if i may. I just picked up a 6 pack of little sumpin (not wild) and all the reviews ive read/watched lead me to believe it was this IPA worthy hop bomb, without a harsh bitter bite. Now i reaaallly like this beer but it doesn't seem THAT hoppy to me. The code on the neck says it was bottled Aug.16th. Is a month long enough to lose alot of hop flavour or did i just expect too much from it?

Either way this 6 pack will be gone by tomorrow.

Little Sumpin Sumpin has never been a hop bomb per se, but rather a nicely hopped beer that is balanced and has a sweet finish.

Update: According to my BEK rep, Sumpin Wild bombers should be hitting the Austin/SA market over the next week.

No. I ordered more this week, but I think it's just bombers now.

It's very frustrating trying to get a specific Lagunitas beer. BEK seems to dole it out in a random manner. Worth seeking out though. I'm wondering when, if ever, Lagunitas will sort it's supply problems out. I know they've had problems but damn, this is going on a year now.
