Went today for the first time and the beers were great. Citronic and El Rio were my favorites. I haven't had any of the NE IPAs but if they're all like this I'm a fan. El Rio was a tropical brett bomb with an amazing mouthfeel and it wasn't too tart. The house saison was nice and oaky and sour with a bit of funk. The tasting room was pretty packed though and my friend and I had to stand up for a bit. Anyways, I'm happy there's a brewery like this so close to me (~15 mins away).

Was there today also for weekly growler fill. Mega-Citronic is too damn good. Can't wait to try the new Ipa being released next week. Believe me the last thing I wanted to do was feed into the hype of all these hazy NE style ipas but it's getting hard not to.

I don't care what style MEGA Citronic falls under -- it's awesome.

The NE-style debate makes me want to take a mallet to my fucking teeth...and then my balls.

How does it match up to MEGA citronic? I'll be stopping by tomorrow to fill my growler on the way back from Barrelworks.

Just as good I'd say, the tropical/pungent NZ hops shine in this beer, it's aromatic as fuck.

I can agree but CASA is already over 3200 so it won't take long.

And also, how does Dionysus (also on the top rated list) have 42 beers. I would think it is tough to create 42 unique beers within the time period they have been open.

lots and lots of home brews that get sent out and "tick it, brah" sort of situations.

I mean, how many of those 3200 CASA check in's are from when they were pimping their home brew bottles around at shares and asking people to check in and like it. I remember that firestone liberation line share. Dude just walked up the line and was doing pours for ticks.

Yeah but I believe Casa started a new untappd page and deleted the home brews.

We contacted untappd when we were fully licensed to see if we could erase our homebrew checkins. We decided to delete all home brew checkins that we had no intention of using on a commercial level. Therefore the names you see remaining are beers we intend on making again. Of our 4000 checkins roughly 80-90% are from commercial batches. We had less than 400 homebrew checkins when the account turned to a licensed brewery.

Tried Darryl yesterday - pretty tasty, although like other strawberry beers I've tried, there's a bit of a band aidy aftertaste. The Rough and Tumble was delicious - really juicy. The refurbished tasting room looks great.

Have people been receiving newsletters the past couple months? Last one I received was in February and wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything

Stopped by the tasting room twice on the way to & from FWIBF; Darryl & El Fuerte were very good. Rough & Tumble, which also is solid, was the growler fill option.
