    Quiet night for barrel-aged beers. You mean not everyone wants to drinks 10% plus beers aged in barrels in the middle of spring?

    Split a 2014 BCBS. It was really sweet and not a ton of barrel. Got to say it was disappointing. Still have a bottle of 2012. Should I expect the same?

    So much better now at about 6 months than it was fresh. The harsh tannic wood character and excessive maple has died down and this has shown itself to be a pretty damn good English barleywine.
