I don't think the most recent batch (that DFH has been pumping on Instagram) has reached the Pittsburgh market yet. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct. 2-3 weeks is what I was told from the wholesaler.

I thought it was only released twice per year? So there was 5-6 month old 120 minute on the shelf at GESS just a couple weeks ago?

It would only be another 2 years until it was drinkable.

I'm asking if this beer really sits on shelves that long or am I somehow missing something? I've never come across it before.

Yeah, me either. It flies off the shelves or is an ask for it behind the counter beer for whatever reason.

120 sell very well for some unknown reason to me. It usually disappears in a few hours/days when I put it on the shelf. I used to always buy 1 but stopped a couple of years ago because there is very seldom a reason to drink a 120 min.

I bought 120 once and it tasted like pure vinegar... never again. That coupled with a few bottles of 75 min that were so over carbonated they were undrinkable... and I gave up on Dogfish awhile ago.

Wilson McGinley picked up Neshaminy Creek. Should start distro in late May.

Hey guys -- does Brew Gentlemen fill growlers from other breweries? Not sure what kind of laws PA has.

Awesome, thanks! I didn't see a 32 oz on their online menu, that's good to know!

Additional question: does Voodoo Homestead do the same?

It's a cool novelty beer, but there really isn't much there other than the ~18% ABV. And if that's your thing, grab an Avery Tweak or Uncle Jacob's Stout; I feel like there's a lot more flavor going on those beers, as opposed to whatever the hell 120 is supposed to be.

Not to knock Dogfish Head, I just agree. The hype for 120 is silly to me.

Fresh 120 is pretty awful but with a few years on it, it's exceptional.

I think I've only given it a year or so. It's not bad by any means, I just don't get the satisfaction from it that others do.
