Had a great time today. Beer was on point, tacos were delicious. Everything seemed to go off without an issue.

The whole tired hands crew did a great job today. Glad they lowered the can limit, even though I skipped the can line, really killer event. Thanks to Jean for hooking up the low cut st coffee and pretzels. Had a great time today.

Anyone know if they still have blackberry milkshake on tap or did everything pretty much kick by now?

They hadn't even got to Blackberry when I left around 4:30. I was shocked.

Not to change topics but has anyone had a COV recently that was less than amazing? I had my first can on day of release and it really blew me away. The coffee taste, mouthfeel and sweetness was on point. I popped open my second can tonight and it was strikingly different and disappointing. The coffee notes was minimal or near absent and to be honest it tasted almost closer to a regular OV (which I was not the biggest fan of). I did accidentally drop the can on floor the day before and it suffered dents and bumps despite no leaks however. Could that have contributed in anyway to the difference in the first 2 cans?

Hahaha...it was as logical as I could reason it. I did say you can choose either Ferm or Para Bar . I showed up at 1.15pm and got into the Para Bar line. Got my pour, talked to Christian (it wasn't so bad), and hung around the Para area until 2.45pm or so. Got in line for the Ferm for maybe around 15-20 minutes and got in.

Great to meet you as well. Cheers!

That birthday chimichanga was horrible. Incredibly sweet. Everything else was great. And the para bar thing was much better than I expected. It was a unique experience and it never got too out there.

The only issue is the people who had chairs in both lines. So they just got cans and were still the first in line at the ferm. Not sure how that makes sense, but everyone was doing it.

The COV might have faded a little bit but I had a can this weekend and still really enjoyed it and it did taste like coffee. Maybe (hopefully) something was just off with that can.

St. Oner came out well too. Refreshing and very tart.

Disagree on the chimichanga, thought it was amazing. I do agree on the line, people have balls. I saw it happening and actually had an extra chair but couldn't bring myself to that level. I waited in line for an hour and a half before getting in the Fermenteria but had an amazing time once inside.

I'm really surprised the security guy didn't do something about the chair placeholders, I find that rediculous.

I'm amazed people have the balls to do something like that. The amount of people who think the world revolves around them always surprises me.

Overall, I had a great time. Spent a ridiculous amount of time waiting in line between the can line and Fermentaria line (4-5 hours total, easily) but I met some really great people and all the beer was awesome.

I do think the empty chair placeholders is lame as shit and I'd personally never do it, but if all you have to do is stop by early enough and leave a chair, maybe they're smarter than I am...

Most of the time they were sitting around their car drinking beer and then as it got closer to 12 each chair seemed to have 3-4 people to them.
