@augiecarton Any plans for another run of dune fruit over the summer?

Funny you mentioned Dune Fruit. Had a dream I was in a random liquor store and there was a random 3 pack (1 was missing) of Dune Fruit sitting on a shelf. I've personally never had Dune Fruit so I'm not sure why that particular beer was prominent but there you have it. Bizarre. Think I'm drinking too much beer these days.

I did have the mosaic and rated it very high. Doesn't look like anyone has had the galaxy yet(no rates/reviews) but I was referring to the recent variants that have been canned. Should've been more specific.

I'll savor my last couple cans even more so now! Hopefully that style holds up because I have 3 or 4 I didn't want to drink. One of my all time favorite Carton beers.

I still have about half a case of that same batch of weasel. How well has it held up? I'm kinda scared to drink it.

I'm also sitting on something like 8-10 cans of Dune Fruit and 1 sole can of Monkey.

On a different topic @augiecarton, I cracked open a can of All Orange the other night and there was a ton of stuff in suspension. Assuming yeast/hop particulate, but could be orange rind? My friend said the same thing from one of his cans. We divvied up out of the same case. Tasted delicious, so I'm not complaining. Just wondering if the beer is generally meant to be that way. Either way - awesome beer.

Orange rind was my guess too - Churro had the same look and I believe Augie mentioned it was likely vanilla.

its unfiltered, and likely all those things dropping out as it settles. if they bother you decant, if you like them swirl the can before pouring the tail like a classic german wit. if you hold it around 55 for storage the precipitation will be slower than if you keep it in a fridge down in the low-mid 30s.

Best just to drink them and get your fruit quota for the day in - then you can have one less orange and one more All Orange.

Thanks, Augie. They don't bother me in the slightest. As long as the beer tastes like this, I'll drink it!

Am I right in saying there is no 077 Citra variant?

correct. i asked @augiecarton this question and he said that citra is the dominant dry hop in o dub, so it's not that they won't, but they just havent gotten around to it since its already very present

No limits at Barrier, and the last Smuttlabs release (Sit Down Son) there was a metric butt-ton of. Also, it's a Carton-styled can. I am willing to bet cans today or tomorrow at Carton with high limit and maybe distro too. A la SDS.

@augiecarton So I'm down to my last can of AOE. I can't decide whether to drink it now and be sad that I have none left, or to hold onto to for a few weeks (or months??) while feeling comforted knowing that I still have one left.
