Founder Breakfast Stout hit MN yet?

It ages nicely. I wouldn't pass up on this at 1 year.

 

To each their own! I like my coffee stouts fresh! Faded coffee doesn't apeal to me. At that point I would just age a RIS.

 

No luck in Eden Prairie. Anything near South St Paul?

Four Firkins had some in Labor day, yesterday.

 

Looks like some fresh FBS showed up at Heritage this afternoon (via Twitter). Anyone seeing it elsewhere right now?

 

I love this beer, like these threads, but sure hope we aren't over-hyping beers that traditionally have been available readily and for a long time into ones I'm going to have to drop everything and sprint to Store A or Store B. In a few weeks, let's hope the Twin Cities are swimming in this beer.

Every store gets this beer & it's around until February. Let's not get hoarder-crazy on this...

 

No plans to hoard here... it's just been far too long since I've been able to enjoy this stellar brew, hence my interest in finding someone in the most efficient manner possible.

 

FYI-It's hit Rochester. Andy's crossroads. They had 4 cases sitting out today. Didn't check the North location. Apollo by Gander Mountain has closed, and is in the transition to move to another location due to the owner pulling the lease.Went there last Friday, and found this out. Their website lists the new location. Not sure when it's opening.

Still have the Best Buy location on the northwest side though. Not sure if, or what they have of it. Drinking one right now. Stout Season has begun early...

Are they kidding? Many stores had this into the winter months, some into spring. ATTN RETAILERS: This isn't KBS! Chill out, people!

This is true, and there is generally plenty to go around. I think Founders intends for there to be enough to last through December, and many years it lasts longer. I still see plenty of SN Bigfoot on the shelves, FBS will most likely last a long time too.

 

Red Wing got multiple cases of it at 9.99 a 4 pack... No bottle limits. I have enjoyed 2, but dont see what all the "hype" is. Maybe im just new to stouts!
