Never had a bottle of CBS, have had it on draft and did get a growler fill of it last year. Thought it was good but was a little disappointed in the muted maple taste I had expected to be bigger.

I'd love to try it someday. I see people posting pictures of the bottle, I can't even imagine what it would take to get one.. probably an entire voodoo allotment and more.. way more than I'd be willing to go I'll wait to see if they ever produce it again

The bottles of CBS are nearly 5 years old now, way too old for a coffee stout in my opinion. The draft batch from 2014 was pretty great in early 2015 when I was lucky enough to try it a few times. Hopefully, it'll be back and fresh in the future and you're able to get your hands on some. It was really excellent.
Yeah, CBS is another one I have been trying to get for a while as well. Luckily, the past year or so on here and the BIF's have provided tons of big wants. It's a shame Founder's doesn't do CBS a bit more often.
thinking about it, it's also one of the few bottles I would save, not only for the trophy'ness of it, but, yea, that whole Canadian thing.. (Rush, Triumph, Coney Hatch, Max Webster, April Wine, BTO, etc..) I do agree @KyleDavis , that's a long time for a bottle, I wouldn't want a faded version.. not with the price of admission.
