Have a few bottles left in my fridge of King Sue from the February batch. Would do an IP trade with someone in central Iowa area. Loved the beer, just figured I would share before it isn't as fresh.

 

Hello! Mug club member here! I have two friends from NJ flying in friday am and I am taking them to the TG tap room from Noon friday until about 4pm. I am also bringing a few other guys with me so 4-5 of us in total. We are going to be bringing some solid beers to share such as Cali Brandy Huna, Pallet 5, Cycle Friday possibly...maybe other stuff (Ive got some bigger guns I could break out)

Were looking for somebody who is willing to hang with us and bring an Assassin, SR71 or KBBS to the share...if that happens I can bring DBH or CD16, or GNVP, or Los Dos...or all of them.....etc....All my Assassin, SR71 and KBBS bottles have been consumed

Hit me up and let me know whats possible....I already contacted Clark and he is going to be at Three Floyds for Dark Lord Days so that option is a NO GO....

It served it's purpose of getting TG's new twitter handle going

 

They listed a different stout on there tap page, Seltfird Stout. Anyone know anything about it or is it a typo?

 

"Driftles" backwards...probably another naming snafu with a different brewing causing the change. Just a guess

 

My mind read "shelftrd" stout... but I'm a little slow.

 

Drank an X Hops Gold from the last run last night. More than a month old, and better than it was fresh. Stored cold. Tasted almost identical to the first run from back at Christmas,

 

Any news on Gold getting a new name? Would be great to see it in 4 packs. Probably my favorite By TG

 

If it's your favorite, you probably want it to stay out of 4 pks until the Decorah location is canning.

 

Do you know when the next batch will come out? It's been ages since I've had it, and despite the fact my city gets TG distributed there, we never get King Sue.

I'd guess Monday with most going to DLD.

Was just going to ask about this. That batch from MD release day was one of the best brews ive had.

Maybe the two dry hopped pseudo sue variants will be ready to be bottled at the same time!
